You know, that's an interesting thought and goes along the lines of psychedelics having that weird reverse tolerance effect. I mean, I can take around half a heroic dose (2.5g) and enter hyperspace if my mind is set to do it. It's sort of like if you've been into the space even once, some part of you remembers how to get there and it becomes easier and easier each time you trip.

I've often wondered if there could ever come a point where one would be open to entering hyperspace on a ridiculously small dose, like if I meditated and thought about the space and took like less than a gram of shrooms if maybe I'd have some partial liftoff.

My last trip I only took 2.5g of shrooms and had the most lucid NVC (non-verbal conversation) I've ever had on any psychedlic and this was a particularly low dose for me. For those interesting in reading this specific trip report, it's located here.

In Carlos Castaneda's books he describes a focal point of perception or place where perception is "assembled" via interaction between internal and external energies. Depending on one's Intention and available energy, one could move the point of focus/position of that focal point, (with an infinite number of positions) and either change the way reality was perceived OR assemble different realities altogether. This "Assemblage Point" has been described using the metaphor of an old TV with the tuner knob old and rusted over- by slowly turning the knob the picture would start to change and you could start to see another channel come in. By moving the knob all the way into into it's new position the next channel would come in completely. Maybe DMT and other drugs break through the rust on that old tuner knob of perception and oil it at the same time, allowing us easier access to other channels/realities.

Yes, and to my mind that assemblage point is the black hole in a lucid dream. Where there is only thought and from there you can move into other channels. I know a guy who claims to have been taken to hyperspace by aliens in lucid dreams. When i mentioned DMT to him he said he heared DMT blasts you off into hyperspace but he does not recommend it. He says the psychic field is the realm of thought. Which encompasses the entire universe. And from there you can move to wherever you want. Here's a vid of him on youtube he knows much more than i do.

The psychic field and hyperspace
Not sure if he would appreciate me putting up the link but it's on youtube so.. Razz I really like the guy i met him on Dreamviews.com

Fascinating! I've always thought that if one could initiate a lucid dream while fully awake and eyes open, you could bypass the sensory-interpretation process and somehow get "behind the scenes" of reality creation, experiencing the world in it's true form as pure energy- in other words, as Shamans call it- Seeing.

I'll check out that video too. Thanks!Very happy

It's hard to take someone entirely seriously who can discourage taking DMT even though he's never actually done it himself. What if he were to find out that he's capable of traveling to much more exotic places than this thought abilities allow him? Guess he'll never know if he won't try it since he hasn't and arbitrarily doesn't recommend it.

It would be more disturbing if he would encourage taking a drug he knows nothing about. Imo. I think he's just trying to be safe, i'm sure you would understand.

Ive had all the sort of experience he is talking about without taking a psychedelic. Whatever the reality is of such experiences, I have been involved in lucid dreaming and meditation for longer than I have been involved with any psychedelic, even cannabis..and neurochemicals found in nature like DMT and psilocin are key components of our greater gaian link up in my view. It's like food..you can intake key neurotransmitters or precursers in food for example, and indeed you NEED to do this..DMT is just another neurotransmitter in my view found in nature, in plants that we can ingest. None of my other experiences have led me to believe that DMT is any more dangerous than anything else persay..

Most often the people who advise against the use of something like DMT have never taken it and dont really understand the dynamics at play and the complexity involved in living a life here within the matrix of the gaian biosphere that would make something like DMT a thing that many humans SHOULD ingest. Maybe for some, it really just is not for them..that is fine.

I can understand the point of view from some others perspective on this whole thing, when they have never taken DMT, have been brought up with the dogmas of the drug issue and all of that is combined with certain psychic experiences that make one weary of such powerful experiences being had by people who are not really prepared to deal with what might come.

I do think that the best way to approach these things when learning how to do this stuff is with an experienced guide. many people here would qaulify IMO as experienced guides. That is not how I got into all of this..I started out on my own with a friend who was also into dreaming and meditation..we just searched out mushrooms and went at the thing..but we also got our asses handed to ourselves enough times without any sort of context to fall back on or anyone experienced to rely on.
Long live the unwoke.

I believe that one can access extreme altered states just through meditation and lucid dreaming, but I'm not so sure that one can reach the profound recesses of consciousness in the austere interdimensional intricacy that DMT or MAOIs + DMT have to offer at their greatest potentials when exogenously flooding the system.

I remember when I ate about 4.5 g of cubensis out in the woods (more like chapparal/desert, riparian landscape), while peaking, I said I was really unable to distinguish between what it would be like opening one's eyes peaking on dmt, or even closing my eyes I would see the same sort of beings/entities. I feel I could compare and contrast the effects of the two tryptamines for ages but I would eventually come full circle. They're both simply keys for you to open doors with.

I have yet to try asurens, I have some cultivating on 4 pf cakes. (it's my first time cult-ga) I hear they are the strongest. I have to wait all the way until-spring? We'll see.
How are they different than cubensis? Is this a conversation for another section?

I consider myself not very experienced compared to most people here. I've tried some psychedelics (mostly shrooms), I'm relatively new to DMT it seems to me that all are slightly different at low and high doses. I've had experiences with meditation and dream that were like hyperspace, but each experience was at least slightly different. The most extreme, clear, crisp, other dimensional with out being aware of this dimension, (but still able to remember at baseline)(is dimension the correct term?) is with vaping dmt for me. The second is Aya, the third is shrooms in high doses with cubey's.

Everyone is different. I think Fractal is the most articulate poster, and his posts seem most true for me. Experience seems to matter, the more experienced one is the more true their statements. but that is very subjective.

The guy in the video-does nothing for me, what he is saying seems true enough IMO, but I can't get a connection thru his style on vid, perhaps in person.
Upon return from hyperspace-"Wow I have a body with arms and legs and everything!"

btw-It's all true!
