SWIM has some DMT extracted from acacia bark. SWIM is just a little intimidated. they have no experience with any drugs aside from marijuana and some sort of deleriant. the experience with the deleriant has changed SWIM's perception of reality and from what SWIM has read, DMT has a habbit of doing just that. SWIM is not sure if they want that to happen again.
the claim *strongest hallucinogenic substance known to man* doesnt help either.

Well deliriants tend to be in quite a different class of substances then DMT. If you are concerned but want to still try start with a low dose.

Agree with blunt. You don't know how sensitive to it you might be. I've found I've gotten more sensitive since I started. Some take 60mg to break through. I have broken through on around 15mg. I'd definitely recommend a scale. And to me, the initial experiences were much more intense, but it seems I got used to them so I just more go along with it.

It's quite beautiful seeing the 2D geometric patterns turn 3D before your eyes. Then seeing interesting entities, it is all profound in its own way. It wasn't scared, but then I've learned not to get worked up by what I'm seeing.
Nanaki, of course is a fictional video game character. He never does drugs that would alter consciousness. He only thinks he does.

Deliriants are light-years away in effect from triptamines.
But be aware that a low dose of DMT can actually be worse that a higher one. I really don't like to almost break through. I find it uncomfortable. I want to be sure to smoke enough to brake through. But a very low dose can be ok to test the effects.

Good luck and I hope you find your dose to brake through.

SWIM has not yet broken through, but has to agree with the above statement. I think i must have been as close as you can possibly get to breaking through without actually breaking through. But when you remain in this reality, it is soooo fuckin strange. Its not really scary, but its just so alien and unlike anything you can imagine and i think thats what makes it uncomfortable. Id rather be blasted through this cannon that yall be talkin about.
You have to go within or you go without

^^^^ Might be nice to experience the cannon, but usually there is a small lapse in thought and I'm just there in hyperspace. No real sense of fast motion.

Try "San Pedro" Trichocereus first if you've never done any other entheogen besides Cannabis... that's my opinion anyway... it's mild and gentle, much less scary than DMT.

I'd agree. DMT can scare the living crap out of you, even very experienced DMT users occasionally get very frightening experiences.
You may remember me as 69Ron. I was suspended years ago for selling bunk products under false pretenses. I try to sneak back from time to time under different names, but unfortunately, the moderators of the DMT-Nexus are infinitely smarter than I am.

^^^^ Sounds a lot like Salvia in that regard.

I did san pedro during the night in a forest, with fullmoon, sometime i got scared sometimes not, it only depends on the context you are using the entheogens. Always try to use them in a spiritual way, and stay calm.

So true. While SWIM isn't too experienced, he's had maybe 8-10 DMT expereinces. When he combined THH, he went way further and realized he could have easily been scared. But he was clear headed and learned some great lessons.

Terror, joy, fear, wonderment, pleasure, love, pain, happiness, insanity, truth, all at once. Accept that all these states can coexist in your mind at once. Approach with good intentions and a pure heart. Well, that's from SWIM's experience with entheogens.

Just relax.

Meditate with the mantra "Relax" for 5 minutes before smoking and everything will turn out right as rain.
It's not that scary/nerve racking at low doses. Just remember to relax and enjoy Cool

I would highly recommend a light MAOI previous to your experience. After consuming an 86% Cacao bar (theobromine--only sold at Target as a specialty bar) and a few St. John's Wort capsules (MAOI) previous to my journey and using ~35mg (almost double the first experience!), I had a significantly less frightening, "out-of-control", but still completely satisfying experience. Since these are both moderately weak and easily attainable, they seem to be a great tool to help soften the rough "push" of smoked spice.
