If doing FASI you should dry both the IPA and the limo at the salting stage. I suppose it wouldnt hurt to dry your limo before pulling in a drytek. But, I have not ever done that ...anyone care to comment?
I would love to see the formula for how much epsom to use, but here is my less than exact but certainly effective methos.
put your epsom salts in a baking dish, in the oven set hot. You are cooking out the water, it looks cool, little streams collect under the surface, that looks like ice. The whole scene looks awesome, if you have a good camera pls take take pics. an hour or so at 400 f should do it.
Grind, crush, powderize your new friend... anhydrous magnesium sulfate!!! I usually do the whole container of epsom at once and then just put it all back in the orig container.
Put some in a jar...I do not know how much... an inch or so in a quart mason jar. I always overkill it just to be sure.
Add your liquid to be dried and mix really well, let settle, mix again, let settle. Decant and then filter through a super tight cotton ball filter (or better)
