Listen to gospel music when you journey. Seriously. It works. Nothing dark wants to hang around while some big lunged believers are testifying. Invite angelic and divine entities to your hyperspace parties, and whatever you do... don't hang out with predatory or unfriendly types. If you tried to "befriend" some obviously dark humans in real life, you might have gotten raped, robbed or killed. It doesn't matter what your religious beliefs are. In hyperspace there exist oodles and oodles of loving, mind bogglingly creative, and jaw droppingly artistic beings who want nothing more than to blow your mind and lift you up out of your little mental boxes. Why, on earth would you want to hang out with the soul-less, clinical, or malicious types? When you are reverent and have respect fot the unfathomable novelty of the Universe, you can experience truly heavenly, blessed things... "Curiouser and curiouser..." ~ Alice
"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it." ~ Buddha

it think many good things have been said, and your own interpretation is quite valuable, i just want to add my own interpretation of dark experiences in general during psyconautical explorations....i believe these experiences are a blessing, for there is a tendency to have much more learning in unpleasant experiences, especially one so charged with terror..i mean it is extremely difficult to get that genuine terror, usually one must endure extreme hardship for much time in the physical body to experience that much terror and consequently that much learning so to have that experience you just jammed it all in 11 minutes..THAT is an accomplishment, and you came out pretty much okey dokey, your not disabled, you dont have ptsd, your not addicted to heroin, your body still has health and you can continue your life, but hopefully to live your life that much more fully because you managed to get such a truly terrifying experience under your belt...so i say congratulations... also tis tru what hyperspace fool says if you dont want to be distressed then dont invite "dark" folks around...also also its a rubber band, the further you experience the dark the more capacity you have to experience the light. use this experience to empower yourself and venture forth in the world as the most compassionate being ever hope this was helpful and not too rambling ive received the trans dermal download in the apousal lounge
no disease could possibly survive in such a wiggly environment!

I've noticed that any music with good vibe works. For example band "down to the bone" has music with such a good vibe that even if evil entities would come, they would simply start breaking down some awesome dance! I've had entities dance in my room to this music, not once but twice. And they like it like I do, except their dance is way different. Also, it's just more difficult to imagine a tough or negative journey if you've got some music with positive vibe playing! Gospel is a bit overkill if one doesn't like it in general If you decide to start back with the dmt, make sure you start with 10-15mg. High doses lead to difficult journeys most often if one's not familiar with the spice!

Ouch... I'm sorry to hear about the hyperslap. That said... 20 times or more?? Are you aware of the definition of "Insanity"?

Quote:suddenly believing that none of this could be an internal struggle rather than external seems almost like an idealization of the human psyche. Are you sure that you are really without your own psychological demons? I very much agree with your views fractal enhancement regarding the outer and inner universes. I don't really believe that my experience is an external struggle, in fact if the outer universe is a reflection of the inner universe then surely nothing is truly ever an external struggle. The demonic entities are a part of me just as the angelic entities are a part of me, as the law of oneness states. I'm just not really sure what they represent. Quote:I'll tell you why , I always measure my dose, I always travel with ayahuasca teacher in my system when i use spice, I almost always journey alone, I always journey in beautiful natural settings, I leave at least 1 to 2 weeks between each experience, I never go with unfinished business or negative feelings, I clean the pipe often and never burn the spice, If things start going in a bad direction I abort all operations and don't push my luck any further, there is always next time, I don't eat crappy food or drink coffee or have alcohol on the day of journeying, I always have ritual grounding procedures and state intensions, I always ease in and never go balls right at the beginning. Its a process for me and it takes as long as it takes, I'm never in a rush. This is fantastic advice felnik and if I do start using DMT again in the future I will certainly respectfully follow this advice. I was too much in the frame of mind of 'I want to get far into hyperspace NOW' whenever the time the smoke DMT seemed right. Quote:Ouch... I'm sorry to hear about the hyperslap. That said... 20 times or more?? Are you aware of the definition of "Insanity"? Haha I understand exactly where you're coming from! And yes the message should really have been obvious. I did take it seriously though and modified my lifestyle according to what I thought the spice was trying to tell me. I thought it referred to my compulsive use of other substances like weed, xanax etc and so I stopped using these and tried to 'let go' of what I thought it was. But the last thing I thought it would be referring to was the spice itself! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Sometimes it's even best to keep it at low volume, to hear the sounds of hyperspace. Altough sometimes the hyperspace sounds overpower the music itself!

hey Felnik, thanks for that advice! what do you mean with 'journey with Ayahuasca in your system'? Do you drink a cup of Caapi before launching? Or do you smoke changa? And how do you ease into the experience?

All my journeys are totally amazing now and they just keep getting better, WHy is this?
I'll tell you why , I always measure my dose, I always travel with ayahuasca teacher in my system when i use spice, I almost always journey alone, I always journey in beautiful natural settings, I leave at least 1 to 2 weeks between each experience, I never go with unfinished business or negative feelings, I clean the pipe often and never burn the spice, If things start going in a bad direction I abort all operations and don't push my luck any further, there is always next time, I don't eat crappy food or drink coffee or have alcohol on the day of journeying, I always have ritual grounding procedures and state intensions, I always ease in and never go balls right at the beginning. why do i do all this shit ? Because spice is important to me and has had a profound positive impact on my life. I also have gained experience in how to use it and have learned through alot of trial and error what works for me. I am cautious for damn good reason as Dr Psychonaut can attest to.
Felnik, that's one of the best posts I have read on Nexus. Makes me actually believe I can go back into hyperspace one day, just creep in slowly . Thumbs up for great information. P.S The only part I didn't understand is the same question the poster directly above me is asking?^^^ Like Eve, are we eating from the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil

And how do you ease into the experience? It's probably caapi he's talking about. I take sublingual caapi sometimes before smoking DMT and it really is great and I can imagine someday not using DMT without it at all! It's really great and easy to do with gibran2's tek(harmala section of the forum). I agree with each step felnik talks about, except I don't smoke it in nature and sometimes I smoke it more than once a week. With that advice it's much more difficult to bring out a difficult journey. I have also noticed going in too often can bring some unpleasant journeys! TOMTOMTOM: Yeah when you feel like it, load 10mg to your GVG and see how it goes, I'm sure at least you won't be scared!

just to clarify I'm talking about drinking an ayahusca vine tea or using sublingual caapi tincture under the tongue prior to vaping spice. Try it, you'll never do spice without it again. Truthfully spice without Caapi is a waste of dmt in my opinion. Thats how strong i feel about it. Why tincture? Isn't caapi extract powder just as good sublingually? And what kind of tea doses do you take? I've tried sublingual caapi and it's awesome, however I will still use DMT alone, especially if I want a journey with somewhat shorter duration... The caapi sometimes kind of slows down the journey so one can observe better what is actually happening

If you believe in Kharma it could be that in some past life of yours your were a torturer. Now in this life you chose (prior to incarnating) to balance it out and experience all the pain you caused. Anyhow Im glad you're ok now May it be a blessing in disguise. I AM.

I believe too that all things come for a reason and not randomly... But I doubt to look as them as "punishments", more like lessons of some sort. But claim that it could be that he could have been a torturer is just too extreme...

But claim that it could be that he could have been a torturer is just too extreme... I'm a great believer in karma too but I agree with tele in that the idea of karma being an act of punishment is too much of an authoritative view much like the vengeful God in many religions. I see it more like if someone caused great suffering in a previous lifetime, they may be put into this life and be given with the chance to relieve people's suffering )eg. by working as a relief worker) and repay their karmic debt. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

I have some good news for you, dr psychonaut. There will come a day that you'll realise that none of all this has actually harmed you, because there is this golden rule: whether 'entity's' exist or not, no being can ever take control over your mind without your own permission. It's your mind, your soul, your being and no-one else's.
Terrific psychedelic experiences CAN make you grow psychologically. There will come a day that you've regained your confidence and then you can enter hyperspace again without any fear, because you've come to realise that you're way stronger than you initially thought you where.

The answer to this is simple.
You weren't using DMT in a healthy manner, and so you got burned. That doesn't mean there ISN'T a healthy way of working with DMT -- it just means that you tried something, and it didn't work.
You try, you fail, you try again, maybe you fail, maybe you succeed. That's how you learn.
