So i found these the other day, there are quite a few of them where i come from (Northeast)
i was looking through images of Amanita var. formosa and these don't look like they're it

the only pictures i could find like them seem to be of a poisonous nature, Fly amanita
like these

First off I'm not telling you this with any certainty whatsoever. I am in no way telling you to eat those mushrooms at all. What you do is your own business. I am not at all sure of the species out on the east coast, as I am from the west and there are too many Amanitas in the world to shake a stick at. It is hard to tell from your two first photos but they look somewhat similar to The sub species Amanita Muscaria Var. Guessowii, which I believe is what your third pic down is. The bottom or fourth photo looks to be sub species Var. Formosa. Your best bet is to study the crap out of the genus through books, mycology, and if possible an experienced picker. The actives in the amanita muscaria are usually; Muscimol, Ibotenic Acid, Muscazone, and Muscarine. These things have to be processed properly before consumption or they can cause extreme illness or death if enough is consumed. Not to mention the trip usually sucks pretty bad is uncomfortable as all Hell and makes you wish you hadn't eaten them. In my past experience with the classic red Amanita muscaria, the trip usually involves salivating profusely, as well as sweating profusely and feeling extremely drunk cold and hot all at the same time. Also is known to produce symptoms of projectile vomiting into the toilet(or where ever your standing/sitting at the time) for an hour or more sometimes. maybe try shroomery or another mushroom specific website for true positive identification help on these ones. Even with what I know those mushrooms could be some new deadly potent variety like the pantharina that is 10-15X more potent that the regular red muscaria. Maybe somebody else with some Amanita experience can chime in here.

They certainly look like A. muscaria var. Guessowii. The coloring is pale, closer to A. crenulata, but the rings of volval remnants at the base of the stipe definitely rule out A. crenulata and argue strongly in favor of A. muscaria.

Based on the pictures, I'm pretty confident you've got some fly agarics... delicious mushrooms when fresh, excellent in stir-fries, omelettes, marinades, etc. (you can parboil them to remove the psychoactive chemicals if you're not after their intoxicating properties)... and a nice pick-me-up at low doses. But to be safe I'd recommend posting an ID request in the Mushroom Hunting forum on the Shroomery for a second opinion, there are some expert mycologists on that board.
