Name something. Name an object. A cat? You surprise me.
No, that is NOT a cat, that there is what we call a cat. Why is the naked body of the opposite sex appealing?
Why do I like pie?
My brain says so. Pie is not tasty, pie contains sugars my body needs for energy. My brain knows this, my brain tells me I like it, it's tasty, eat more.
Nothing is intrinsically nice about pie itself. I love breasts, they are very appealing, HOWEVER... they are two mounds of fat with some glands covered in skin, with some form of teat. Now why on EARTH would I find that attractive? Because it is? Well, to me it is. To my brain.
So what's actually beautiful? What's actually anything? Adjectives are pretty bunk.
So if everything we perceive is interpretation on categorized definition in order for our system to operate and perceive the world this way, then what is our brain? What is a brain really? If a pie can be tasteless, if a hard surface can actually be particles vibrating fast and interpreted as solid, if certain particles can be interpreted as light and yadda yadda yadda, then what is our brain, and what is the mind? There's nothing intrinsically posty about this post, and there is nothing intrinsically DMT about DMT.
Nothing is anything really, just what you make of it. But what the hell are YOU!?
