Personally, I think people miss a great deal in this life if they close themselves off to relationships - but this is just my own point of view. My sentiments exactly Art on both points.

Some of the biggest lessons I have learned about myself have been derived from the romantic relationships I have had. Some were very hard won lessons. If people were perfect and did not have a sexual instinct, they would probably have no need for romantic relationships. However, I am far from perfect and fortunately I still have a sex drive. Fortunately me and my lady fit well together and enhance each others life still after many years...
Everything mentioned herein has been deemed by our staff of expert psychiatrists to be the delusional rantings of a madman who has been treated with Thorazine who is hospitalized within the confines of our locked facility. This patient sometimes requires the application of 6 point leather restraints and electrodes at the temples to break his delusions.
