Do you feel like MAOIs such as caapi not only lenghten but also increases the strenght of DMT? I've tried it once with about 35mg and it pretty much lenghtened it only.

Global wrote: Yeah, this problem's been going on for a while now. It was before I got my arc which is months ago by this point. My butane lighters were so unreliable that it was frustrating beyond belief, so if I (or somebody) needed that to continue in a hurry when the butanes wouldn't cooperate, I'd grab a bic. This was also during the period when I still let people light the GVG for themselves. I've tried to clean the soot several times, and though the outside of the ceramic filter looks different, I've always felt there's just been too much resistance which is making me pull harder than I should have to which is also overheating the spice since it should be vaping in quicker time. Is this why people use the butane torch style lighters? i mean it makes sense now.. the residue left from the bic or any other similar style lighter clogs the ceramic disk.. or correct me if i misunderstood.. I spent $40 on a lighter which i thought was the arc shaped torch style.. but when I received it, it actually was the opposite, multi-funtion torch style and regular flame.. http://www.visolproducts...ette---Pipe-Lighter.aspxthe torch was on the top, so id have to turn the lighter completely upside down to use it, which is why i wanted the arc style to begin with.. with this lighter, the arc portion is only the regular flame.. kinda bummed.. i dont know if i want to spend the money on another lighter.. on my first gvg attempt with this lighter, i tried using the torch side, holding the lighter upside-down and inhaling to vape.. but the heat of the flame just rises up, not into the bowl so i got nothing.. are you guys actually touching the torch flame to the ceramic disk? Don't touch the ceramic with the flame tip! Just keep it so it barely glows red and then raise it to keep the temperature steady, this will make for smooth smoke. If you heat too much you will be coughing!

If you're looking to get to that level, I would just take some MAOIs and use a much lesser amount of DMT. Yeah I absolutely understand 70mg is a lot but like I said the plan was definitely not to take all 70mg in one hit, I read so much about the GVG and assumed I could take a hit have some fun come back and hit it again so it would last an hour or so. I certainly had no idea you could clear 70mg in 1 hit. I have simply put it down to holding the lighter too full on and too close, because I did notice the last 1/4 of the hit was rather hot. And like you say "I had a genuine sense of fear" my fear was based around being trapped in a repetitious scene played over and over in witch I am the lead actor. Very much like ground hog day only only 1000 times more complex and faster, though the absolute worst thing was the realisation the time has stopped, then realising that I have realised it stopped before...an continues. I couldn't I couldn't I couldn't get out of the glitch. frustration, fear and hopelessness were the emotions I felt repeatedly. Though this wasn't my first experience with a repetitive scene, you can read it, its one of my earlier posts. A very similar thing happened, though that time I had my usual female guide who pulled me out of the cycle, and communicated see do you get it. As if I was being taught a lesson in TIME itself, and when she pulled me out of the cycle of repeat I would be in a room I felt comfortable in. Until I caught my breath an remembered who I am, then back in the cycle. I am starting to think the reason she wasn't there this time was because of my mediation I mentioned I preformed before blasting off. In witch I assured myself/any one listening I am completely ready for a wowza experience, so I was tested solo...not sure about all this but I have to learn something else from the experience OTHER THAN 40mg MAX LOAD. Though I hope this does not put anyone off getting a GVG. It is simply brilliant, you can go as deep in one hit as you like...with not bad taste at all. I mean I flamed it hard with the arc and still couldn't burn it. FYI for the other guys wondering. I used a simple chore boy type metal cleaning pad with one screen and have no leakage at all. The people who posted with doubts, I was just like you two weeks ago thinking these guys are over selling this how can it be so different from other pipes...I wrote those exact words actually. The GVG or a good vaporizer is a must have for myself as i can't stand the taste of DMT smoke, it makes me feel so icky inside, and for such a purifying experience i don't really want to feel so nasty & impure afterwards.
If used right the GVG leaves a sweet taste in my mouth with no negative side effects, apart from the occasional sheer terror of course!
The Arc is the best lighter i have ever owned, i've dropped it more times than ive vaped DMT with it & it still works so its very strong
Edit: turns out the Arc ended up being the most unreliable lighter i have ever owned, i may have dropped that first one which gave up the ghost, but i've since had two that stopped working after a few weeks.

It's faster than with a bic! Also bic is much more difficult to use as the flame isn't solid!

Is it the flame ? I have this guy and its doing very good job but maybe I am missing here something. Here's the thing about other butane lighters in comparison to the arc. You see, most butane lighters are only designed to be light right-side-up because they're designed for smoking cigarettes. I didn't realize this. Obviously when you use the GVG, you have to tilt the butane upside-down or sideways at best. This screws up the butane lighters making them highly unreliable. They won't work when you want them to, and won't reliably give you the kind of flame you're looking for. They'll sputter out or not start, or start and stop...refilling them doesn't do much good either. The thing about the arc is that it's designed to be lit at any angle, so you can have the upside down flame go straight into the GVG with no problem. The Arc has never displayed any trace of unreliability, and it's never a problem to refill, and doesn't run out of butane as often as my other ones. Anyway I just put through my order for a new ceramic filter (so we'll see if the old one was really a problem or not), 20 screens and a spacecricket I figured what the hell. Also tele, I use syrian rue in gel caps and if I take 4g syrian rue and then pack up the GVG, it without a doubt increases the potency of the experience as well as lengthening the duration. It's not any more overwhelming than any other DMT experience and intensity isn't usually an issue for me anyway, but with the MAOI I feel like it pushes the experience further than usual because I feel like there's more of a tendency to see sacred or special imagery, and with the increased duration I can fluidly explore the sacred dimension in depth. So I finally received my GVG all the way to the UK. It arrived about 30mins ago and I already tested it. It took 2 weeks to arrive and the total cost was around £132/$211. Below is the exact info to help any Brits who maybe considering buying one. Go for it you simply cant regret it.
. I have got to say a big thanks to olympus mon who basically talked me into getting the GVG, top man.
also to gibran2 and Chronic who gave me quality info regarding the GVG in pms, thanks for taking the time guys. And of course endlesness's thread with all the info about the VG/GVG was awesome.
: right on tomtom!!! im really stoked your enjoying your new baby! our gvg's served us well out in the desert last week at Burning Man. it was a beautiful sight to see a dozen gvg's all lined up ready for lift off. your arc lighter looks super rad. ive been using a mid grade torch lighter made for pipes that has been working great. i like that i can get the flame very low as its easy to burn the spice with too much flame. i payed $25.00 us but so far its been perfect. im just hoping it lasts because that seems to be a common problem with low/mid grade torch lighters. they die rather quickly especially if dropped. the igniter's are fragile so be gentle with your torches folks. Hey olympus mon, You where definitely the reason I committed to buying the GVG. It has changed DMT for me, I really appreciate it brother. It must have been magical seeing those GVG lined up...a thing of beauty, AND BEING AT BURNING MAN. Lucky man you are, way to make the most of spice, GVG and a great event. You deserve it after your priceless advice. Mad thumbs up Like Eve, are we eating from the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil

Though I have had some group events at the lake witch was awesome...but I didn't have my GVG then...an it sure as hell weren't no BURNING MAN. But you can bet your ass ill be on the hunt for new locations and environmentS to explore the down right beast that is THE GVG. Like Eve, are we eating from the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil

I'd get wooden VG if venturing outside. Just due to the fact that the GVG is very close item to me after all we've been through! I'll keep it safe as no new GVG would replace it's emotional value. I also feel like it's absolutely best to smoke alone, as I've smoked with friends and it certainly isn't the same. I always like to open people's eyes to the experience, but extra people does add extra complications like: Are you gonna let it light it themselves? If not you should probably go last Are you gonna both try to do it simultaneously and if not, is the other person patient enough to sit and wait for you to come down? Are you gonna reload spice in between people? You're always wondering if they got enough or too much. It's easiest to just do it yourself and not have to be preoccupied with others, though I rarely turn enthusiasts away. "Science without religion is lame. I agree, it's so deep," sensitive", and always different that it's very important not to be preoccupied with anything else IMO. One can sometimes have hands full with the journey alone, such as getting rid of jesters in your room, LOL!
