Whoa it's the first time I've heard simulating the D!

Fractal enchantment: I agree at the similarity between psilocin/psilocybin and DMT, except of course mushrooms have their own character.

I was 17 when 2 friends and I first drank mimosa/rue tea. We had 5 grams rue, 10 grams mimosa, and we did it 3 nights in a row at that dosage! Needless to say, it was quite the introduction to ayahuasca, truly amazing, just wont even try to describe, and it got me hooked for life!

Jeebus! How'd that work out for ya?

I was 30 when I found out about and used DMT for the first time.

I think when fractal was referring to psilocin peaks, he was referring to having ingested mushrooms. I've found mushrooms capable of both having their own character at times and being just like DMT at others.

I was never interested in any type of "drug" but within 3 months of hearing about DMT, I extracted.

IV LSD doesnt simulate vaporised DMT at all; the effects of a shot of acid IV is simply to half the time to the peak to 1.5 hours rather than 3 hours-ish if taken orally. No discernible 'rush' at all, with the first effects felt at about 8-10 minutes. In all other respects, the trip is the same suggesting little difference between oral and IV bioavailability.
I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.

I started with psychedelics when I was very young, 14. I ate lots of mushrooms and acid (probably way too much). Even got a hold of some pretty decent mescaline once when I was 16. Stopped using psychedelics for a while, I call it the "dark period". Regained interest in mushrooms and found LSA seeds online, worked like a charm to treat my cluster headaches. Found Salvia, which blew me away completely. That led to me finding this site and getting interested in extractions. I have fractal to thank for introducing me to this site. Eternal thanks my friend Smile And like fractal, mushrooms have taken me to the same sort of place that DMT has. They are different, but very similar.

I was about 26 when I first drank aya. Had a few light experiences and one very harrowing one.
Just recently started to experiment with changa. Had my first breakthrough just a little while ago. I owe so much to this site and the people here. Much love!

I vividly remember the time i discovered Erowid and the hours browsing through psychedelics, seeing the yellow crystalline image and knowing i would try it some day.

It was around 3 or four years later when i was about 21, after a period of LSDiscovery.

Mushrooms ( learning to grow ) Interview with Terrence on the Art Bell show talking about DMT was the first time I ever heard about it. I was immediately transfixed, it has turned into a life long passion.
The rest is history I believe I was 40.

29 (recently) I heard about DMT a good 10 years ago though, just took me forever to get my act together and start extracting. So glad I did though.

I first heard of it years ago, tribes in the Amazon taking this weird potion that took them to spirit realms and also healed many sorts of psychological and even physiological ailments. I was interested from then on. I then started reading all sorts of weird and (what I thought to be) far fetched trip reports on erowid, and thought "I NEED to try this!"

This year was my first experience Very happy March I think it was. I was blown the f*** away, as I'm sure everyone here has been Very happy Ever since that fateful day I have been just a little bit obsessed, I love everything to do with it, even the tough episodes have ended up with greater insight and a feeling of clarity that is unsurpassed by any other substance. I love extracting, and creating my own Changa, it is such a rewarding experience, and one that I would not have got very far without you guys help.

I have since been informing all my close friends about its magical powers, and a few have tried it, and been blown away, others have been more reserved about trying it, and that is fine Smile My GF only tried it properly for the first time yesterday, and had a very pleasant, yet totally inexplicable experience - aren't they all though?! I am so happy that I finally got to share this with her, I think it is just what she needs on a few levels.

<3 DMT, and yes I echo others in saying thank you Nexus for all the love, support, and invaluable information I have found here, this place is 1 in a billion!

Much peace and love to all Very happy

Dioxippus,

You say you had/have cluster headaches, poor man I hear its one of the most painful conditions known...hope it gets better with age.

I have been curious lately about the difference between dmt and Salvia. All I know is its similar and with Salvia there is a good chance you will encounter something terrifying, I have seen videos of such. I myself recently had a harrowing experience after I smoked 70mg of spice in 1 hit (accidentally). If you get a moment could you tell me the differences you noticed between spice and Salvia. In a pm or here if you are ok with that, Thanks.

Can't remember precicely, but my first DMT experience must have been roughly 2 or 3 years ago.
I was probably either 22 or 23. I think my 3d DMT experience was the most profound and immersive experience I've ever had
with DMT. Never quite got to breakthrough to such an extend as that particulair experience ever since.
