I just weighed the Dmt acetate after evaporating the acetic acid. It weighs between 6 and 7 grams (from 100 gram of mimosa). Does it put on that much weight from the acetate?

I did the tek with D-limonene. When I poured the D-limo in the jar with basified mimosa (basified with lime) it immideatly whent cloudy.

Could be that lime got mixed with the D-limo? If so, could it be that I didn't use enough water?

If the extra weight isn't just acetate could it then be lime somehow?

I did an A/B extraction, not STB.

If I mix everything with water and add lime, could I pull the Dmt out with IPA?

Its certainly quite some impurities there. And yes if you mix with lime, add water to make paste and then let it dry again, you can pull it with IPA.

Lime isnt soluble in limonene, it couldnt really have gotten across unless there were pieces of it (and propper separation and maybe also filtering the limo if wanted, could have prevented this from happening). And even if some did get across, it would have been neutralized by the vinegar (forming calcium acetate). I would guess its more likely just other plant impurities/oils adding to the weight. BTW is it acetic acid or vinegar?

In any case making lime paste and pulling with IPA will work.

Wonderful! Thank you!

It is 24% acetic acid that I mich with water so it becomes 6% instead.

It is strange that this happened because I did exactly the same way as the last time and from the same bag of bark, but then the D-limo didn't get cloudy. The only difference was that the lime I used then was a paste and not a powder. The paste made the mimosa too runny so some hard ass emulsion formed. So I decided to try with powder.

Thanks again.
