I can't get thick white smoke without sandwiching it in a bong bowl between some weed though, I wasted a ton of spice and got hardly any smoke using the oil burner, and it was nasty and had hardly any affect on me.

I guess I could try sandwiching it between some ashes, but wouldn't the flame pull right through the ashes and burn the crystals?

Try not to touch the ashes with the flame, suck the heat in from the flame consistently and slowly and your dmt should vaporize.

When your DMT gets heated it will melt into the leaf under it. Having that much shake will take longer to get to that bottom leaf. I put just enough on top to not burn the DMT.

I think the knife tip is a good dose. Try again with the bong method, but use less shake, and get all of it in one hit.

I thought the OP stated that he weighed it on his scale and it takes more than one knife tip to register .1g. Also, I thought its unwise to eyeball any dosage, especially in an online photo.

Well I know one way to find out - Anyone out there have an Exacto Knife and a milligram scale? If so could you test it for me and let us know how much 1 blade's full weighs lol =)

That won't tell you much about what your weight is. All the crystals have a different density depending on crystallization conditions.

@gibran2, I think mindlusion was saying to take the tip of the knife, not the entire blade.

Gibran, he did say it takes a few of those to register on his scale as 100mg. But it does look like a fair bit you can never tell from the picture. (If I were estimating I would say around 75mg give or take 10mg, but definitely not 100

If its not doing it for him, I suggest he try that, and if he hasn't yet perfected his smoking method he isn't in any real danger.

Its hard to tell from a picture, but honestly I would only need half of that, maybe 3/4

It is hard to eyeball doses from different batches especially from a picture though that does look like an awful lot.
Even if I were to weigh a blades worth of mine it could be drastically different than yours.

I've tried to weigh 100mg on a .1g scale before and it didn't even register .1 until I put over 200mg on it! It was much more accurate when I put a whole gram on and removed a little at a time.

i do. a big pile like yours on the blade came out as 66mg

That doesn’t really tell us anything. The density of DMT powder varies significantly – I’ve had piles of equal volume side-by-side from two different batches, weighed them, and found that one weighed 3X as much as the other.

So based on your reported weight of 66mg, “The_Curious_One’s” pile could weigh as little as 22mg (unlikely) or as much as 198mg.

Have you tried using tea leaf instead of MJ? Bust open a normal tea bag, sandwich your spice and smoke

I'm going to try this, I have some herbal tea which is made of Chamomile, peppermint, rose and orange leaves/blossoms. I think it should smoke pretty nice.

I tried the tea and it worked great, just used some herbal tea. I posted my experience in the Experiences section if you're curious. It's titled "I think I'm starting to get it now. The smoke was harsh but not as bad as some legal herb blends I've tried. I recommend using tea(herbal) over marijuana and legal herb blends for sure.
