well i did my first extraction and right now my 2 jars are in the freezer. i was wondering when i pour the naptha off i will be putting the jars upside down to get any left over naptha out of the crystals. BUT my question is when im done with it i the fridge can i just leave the crystals in the jar with the lid open to dry the crystalS?

Well, it's a good idea to do this in a cool environment, I see you have selected your fridge to do the task.

I hope it's an old fridge that doesn't have actual food in it, because that naptha has got to go somewhere. It will evaporate into your food!

If you attempt to do this on a hot day, it's quite possible your crystals will melt. So make sure to do it in the coolest/driest area you can. This works better in winter. And yes, once it's poured off and has been drained upside down for a while (keep an eye on it so it doesn't melt) you can just leave it for a while so it completely dries.

Also when you scrape it out, that will help to release any trapped aromatic hydrocarbons in the crystals if there were any in there to begin with.

then i geuss i shouldnt use the fridge since their is def food in it.. hmm what about a cooler with ice on the bottom and the jars open snuglled in the ice but with the cooler lid open? lol trying to think of something cause i live in florida and its usually 75degrees in my house at night and 80 in the day so not sure if 75 room temp will melt the xtals..??

Yes I believe fan will work even in the room temperature. However the cooler idea is even better. If you have for example a fan that has 1-2-3 settings, put it on 2. Medium power, then after you see the crystals are white, you can put it on 1. You will not fail
