Some of you may already be aware of the shpongoloids coming to spend some time with us in Oakland in October. For those who are not it is what someone like me has been waiting for going on 13 years! Twelve musicians playing simons magic live including the ever so wonderful Abagail Gorton "Hari Om" and Michele Adamson, Harry oscott on cello it is going to be mad as all hell here is some info tickets are still available as of now Got Mine how about you....

peace
Sam

Aw, thank you! I didn't know that! I had a ticket for Sphongle and Infected Mushroom in SF last year; but I had a freakin anxiety attack and had to leave. I was hella pissed, I get them like once every five years, why that night? Arghh!

Hopefully there'll still be tickets by the time I get paid!

Hey everyone.
I would really like to see this show in California. .
I'm wondering if any of you might have an extra ticket and/or would be willing to have me tag along... I don't think any of my friends want to fork out the dough for a flight down and I don't really want to go solo...

Namaste.
This, what I'm experiencing now, is a whole new level of my being.

this is a huge opportunity guys n gals please dont miss out if you can. the full band shpongle has only played in the U.S. a few times and its an incredible treat. if i wasnt going to be in south america in oct you bet id be at the Oakland show.

i just saw the shpongletron exp here in the northwest and i was hugely disappointed. Simon looked really exhausted up there probably from such a rigorous tour schedule and it showed as well as came through in the music. the venue had a good deal to do with the let down as this particular building is known for its shitty acoustics.

the visual effects were so over the top and repetitive my eye's couldnt handle any more and i had to look away for the last 2 songs. constant flashy things does not a show make....Laughing

ive seen shpongle a few times now and this was the only show i left not completly grinning ear to ear but i would spend quite a bit of time and money to see the full band set!!

have fun you lucky dogs.

Got my tickets for the NY show. Not sure what to expect. I read its more like a rave with a DJ but I know raves as something people do extacy for and dance etc. Is this a dmt rave? should i dress like a machine elf or jester? Smile. It will be halloween after all. Do they serve aya at the concession stand Laughing

Any description of what to expect would be appreciated.

It will not be like a rave at all actually. This will not be like a dj set either this will be 11 to 12 musicians and two female vocalists playing shpongle live. Simon the sonic genious behind shpongle plays all instruments in studio albums other than the silver flute by raja ram. So its impossible for simon to play live drums guitar and his plethora of synths by himself so he has carefully and strategiclly sought out only the finest musicians to help him convey his music to our ears. It will probably be one of the most magical experiences you will ever hear!
hope this helps you out

lucky anyone who sees this..I have seen shpongle twice now that last time being about a month ago..I saw the "shpongletron" set..but it was not full band just simon..but it was amazing with the giant anamatronic shpongle face and light show..this one was not "sopposed" to be a rave style event either..the venue was the vogue theatre in vancouver which is definaitly not a rave venue lol..ended up basically being a rave anyway filled with glowsticks and giant pupils.
Long live the unwoke.
