So just a few min ago I was on my fb page... and Im "friends" with DMT:The Spirit Molecule. The Spirit Molecule posted up an article from FOX news (which I thought was shockingShocked ) .It actually shed a positive light on psychedelics Very happy . I mean its nothing we haven't heard b4, but its still cool to see some fresh news...

... this is kind of embarrasing but I don't know how to share the link, Im sure its a simple process which i will have some one show me "one of these days". So if some one could help me out and post it that would be greatStop (unless its all ready posted)

It's interesting, peoples amazing infatuation with celebrities has even begun evolving toward adapting to a balance of nature and reality (baby steps).
Do not listen to anything, "Steely" says. He is a made up character that his owner likes to role play with. His owner is very delusional and everything he says is completely untrue and ridiculous.

This is amazing. This is the kind of PR that psychedelics desperately need. In most cases, psychedelics are automatically portrayed with a negative tone, and quite unfairly lumped in with other nasty stuff, and "drugz", and drug trade. In this article though, all the negative stereotypes are nowhere to be found. Not even mentioned. The article doesn't even have a tone that is akin to, "you thought psychedelics were just for hippies? Think again." No, it's like, "Here's something interesting, psychedelics are medicinal and help people". That's a step above. I feel like when I'm reading that article, it should already be obvious to the reader that psychedelics are good. Psychedelics are medicine? DUH! Of course they are. The article talks about addictive DRUGS, and then talks about psychedelics as medicine, as if this were already true and everyone should know it. Thank you, Fox News. Who would have thought it would be fox news?

This one is a shockers, AMERICAN media separating drugs and plants? This is something new.
And also the text at the end was surprising:

This is not an endorsement to venture forth and consume psychedelics. But there is unquestionable promise in the careful and judicious use of some psychoactive plants for the treatment of drug-related problems. Combined with other lifestyle approaches including counseling, detox, diet and exercise, the psychedelic drugs may eventually occupy a distinguished spot in the full pharmacy of addiction treatment options.

Am I high now? ... Is this real life?
Sometimes I believe that this less material life is our truer life, and that our vain presence on the terraqueous globe is itself the secondary or merely virtual phenomenon.

I keep waiting for them to retract the article, and every hour it stays up, I smile. Each hit to that story could be one person helped by the medicine.

Users of psychedelics already know the following, but I wonder how long it will take them to make the connection that life destroying drugs aren't the only things that people are addicted to. People are addicted to sorrow, pain, thought loops, destructive behaviors based on negative thinking, people get stuck in psychological ruts that they can't break free of. Psychedelics are fantastic for breaking those addictions as well. These are things potentially helpful for almost everyone. I know. My life is so much better after taking this medicine.

uncharacteristically fair and balanced for fox news.

Thank you. Cool
"let those who have talked to the elves, find each other and band together" -TMK

In a society in which nearly everybody is dominated by somebody else's mind or by a disembodied mind, it becomes increasingly difficult to learn the truth about the activities of governments and corporations, about the quality or value of products, or about the health of one's own place and economy.
In such a society, also, our private economies will depend less upon the private ownership of real, usable property, and more upon property that is institutional and abstract, beyond individual control, such as money, insurance policies, certificates of deposit, stocks, etc. And as our private economies become more abstract, the mutual, free helps and pleasures of family and community life will be supplanted by a kind of displaced citizenship and by commerce with impersonal and self-interested suppliers...
The great enemy of freedom is the alignment of political power with wealth. This alignment destroys the commonwealth - that is, the natural wealth of localities and the local economies of household, neighborhood, and community - and so destroys democracy, of which the commonwealth is the foundation and practical means.โ€ - Wendell Berry
