I can strongly recommend some physical activities, such as cycling, running or ballgames. If you are in good shape physically(quitting smoking is important, too) I think it's much less likely that you are going to get any negative side effects. If the headache is due to smoking, I would not smoke for at least couple weeks to remove some of the toxins. Maybe some purifying tea would be good.

Drinking lots of liquids isn't too good idea, instead one should use moderations, such as one cup for one hour during the session(before and after vaporizing).

Often when blasting, I need couple of sips of water every now and then after coming back from the experience. Even when the GVG vapor is very smooth

It seems for me, that I usually get headaches when I smoke lower doses, but when I smoke enough to visit what some call the 'Godhead',
there is no headache. In fact, I remember being sick, and smoking DMT, and it healed me temporarily. I realized that being sick was some
'cosmic joke', but when I returned back to my sober state, I was sick again.

I experience these headaches too, and I have a theory on why it occurs, although it is no way near being 'scientific'.

I think that the headache comes from holding something back psychologically, some fear of some sort, and so that fear creates some sort
of blockage. That blockage creates a headache.

Sounds a little ridiculous, but I think that is the case for me personally. I am addicted to nicotine though, so maybe that has something to
do with it. I only get these headaches from light to medium doses. Although I don't get them all the time, just most of the time.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but has anyone experiences LOWER BACK pain after smoking DMT? I had it twice...

Never had any pain from DMT but a friend said he has had a headache lasting a week after vaporizing DMT.

Yes, psychedelics make my back pains worse, I've been told that taking a lot of magnesium before tripping can help.

I get headaches if i´m dehydrated, even if i´m not before smoking changa seems to use up alot of fluids in your body.

LOL I was sort of alarmed about it happening twice in a row, however on the previous day I was picking berries and cycling alot so that could have caused, it's just weird how the moment I inhaled the pain started. Well, I just won't strain my back before blasting. Our bodies+psychedelics= just another thing one has to learn about through experiences.

I think that a lot of the headaches that people get after vaping/smoking spice is due to solvents left behind on/in the crystals.

Certainly when making spice and working with naphtha lighter fluid, I can find myself with both stomping headaches and a malfunctioning brain. So if this stuff is left behind on end product (which it generally will be to some extent), then the person using the spice is effectively smoking solvent.......this is gonna give y'all headaches people.

One should consider evaporating the crystals in acetone, I recommend it highly

I was really sorry to read this thread; that sucks Spiritous. I had a similar problems and started to look into different herbs and trace minerals to help ethneogenic effects. Although, not quite the same thing maybe you should try some blue algae, chlorophyll, or spirulina supplements?

Thing is, I think I defo prefer the large crystals from the freeze precip to the flat crystal scrapings from an evap dish.

The result from redissolving in acetone is kind of powder type, depending how finely you chop it.

I vap them with the VG glassbat.

But my mate smokes them...often in a rolly up cigarette.

The last lot he got from me was evap'd with Ronsonol (naphtha lighter fluid) after I found out that White Spirit (heavy Naphtha) that I used on original extraction/freeze precipitation was going to leave residues on the spice. He said that he struggled to get a hit from it and we figured that this was due to the dmt being so fine that it just dissappeared as soon as the heat came into contact with it, not allowing him a chance to inhale it.

Therefore larger chunkier crystals are more the order of the day.

btw...any chance of a link to an acetone recrystalisation tek? I have had a quick look around but cant find anything that seems 'verified'.
