The other day SWIM made his first huasca brew out of 3g syrian rue, 2g MHRB, a pinch of organic tobacco, and 3g of Chali. He put all three ingredients through a coffee grinder and into the pan. He did three seperate 30 min. boils, adding 1/8 teaspoon of citric acid to each boil. Then he combined all the boils to a little less than a half cup of liquid, which was promptly and ceremoniously imbibed.

REPORT

SWIM and his friend each brewed their own huasca, but each was nearly identical. Inscense was burned before hand: Palo Santo, Sage, and Frank. A small joint of tobacco and sage was shared before imbibing the brew. A small prayer was also said, and music was but on over speakers. Having taken Syrian Rue before, SWIM felt a similar body load as before. Eerily similar to the onset of a salvia trip, but drawn out. When things got heavy enough, time to purge
**Funny side note (For those that watch workaholics, SWIM had turned to his sitter, puke bucket in hand, and said right before the purge, "I'm starting to get WEIRD" just like Adam says in an episode" Then SWIM purged his guts out for about 3 minutes, and afterwards he felt fantastic.

Highlights of swim's trip were feeling as though the house was a spaceship, and the blanket was covering a whole on floor which was why it had ripples. He could sit on it though, because it had the same properties as a magic carpet. At the peak, he felt as though his body was de-pixelizing starting from his left arm at the fingertips, but only making it halfway down his body. Visuals were slight tracers, and wavy outlines of material objects.. but nothing more than this. SWIM def. did not breakthrough, though he thoroughly enjoyed navigating the pre-hyperspace plane. SWIM's friend was able to go a little deeper and have a few visions, but both were close to back to baseline three hours after drinking the brew. However, both gained a very deep appreciation for everything on this earth, especially family members who are all to often given little thanks or credit. To sum up the after effects for SWIM, EVERYTHING became AWESOME!

SWIM would like to go deeper, breakthough, and maybe have a visionary experience using a similar ingredients, so your suggestions are greatly welcomed!

Not every huasca experience is an intensely visual one, and every dose--even with the same brew--can feel different. My suggestion is to just go for it a few more times, maybe try slightly increasing your MAOI before you increase admixture if you feel the need to take more.

For a first experience, that sounds right on the nose.
