has anyone ever noticed when you smoke spice and watch people on T.V. their bodies start twitching and moving alien-like very fast paced as well! they are talking at a normal pace, but it is in this foreign language that i have never heard before! it is very bizarre! a few friends have described the same thing. anyone else experience this at the comedown or at non-breakthrough doses?

Why on earth would you watch TV during a DMT experience? Isn’t DMT “entertaining” enough on its own? At sufficient doses, TV, other people, this world – all these things are left behind. And the comedown period can be the most introspective and healing part of the whole experience. Why TV during comedown? I’d suggest you find a quiet place free of distractions, meditate or prepare yourself as you see fit, and then take a full breakthrough dose. You might then experience things more meaningful than watching twitchy fast-moving people on TV. gibran2 is a fictional character. Any resemblance to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental.

i dont watch tv while im using spice. i think i probably came off the wrong way. i totally agree that set and setting are the most important aspects of a dmt experience and that a tv being on where i was using it was probably not the best idea. but it was there and it happened. i was just curious and i feel like you guys think im just some idiot that smokes dmt to "get high" its not like that at all. i have gone through hyperspace before guys, it was a simple question and i feel like you jumped to conclusions before even giving time to think about what i asked. EASY KILLER! chillllll

Turn off the television.
Unplug it.
Paint on the screen.

The human strives for a connection. It wonders what to do after being programmed by the boxed light for years. It feels strange when it is off. It wonders what to do.
The ape must be transformed, reverted to it's original yet NEW mode. N,N-DMT in conjunction with meditation is the way.

I have watched films while smoking DMT (low dose) and all i noticed was some morphing, and some kind of "oily patina" on the objects shown. Why be dogmatic about this. As long as it isnt just another commodity you do not respect - experiment as long as its safe.

Why not smoke a bowl of cannabis? Save the DMT for when you actually want to get something out of it and let it work it's wonders on you. There is a time and place for everything. DMTV is fail. Try illuminating your room with the neuroelectricity of the mind instead.

Well, I did that, came back and felt inspired to experiment while hearing a voice encouraging me to do so. And so i did. It filled me up with the joy of being alive ...and that was the outcome of this experiment. I would not do it again because i fail to see the point.

People are curious: That's why I once had to try it, to experience an open eye trip so to speak. The reason I had to try was that the movie was BATMAN forever, which is great. I took a mild to medium dose during the circus scene and it was really awesome, similar to the closed eye circus I once visited on DMT.
But yes, the characters start to move in somewhat faster phase and you can see the beautiful patterns inside the movie.
Obviously if one takes a high dose there's no sense to watch TV, but out of curiousity, I just had to see how the spice alters our movie experience. It was worth it and as an experience I see it in no way offending the awesome holiness of DMT. If you ever decide to try, make sure it's one of your favourite movies and the dose isn't too high.
And yes, of course, DMT does not need any more entertainment on it's own, but as an experience out of curiousity, it definately was one worthwhile for me and it even gave me more understanding of the consciousness to leave with.

I've had a number of experiences where the TV was on. Although I'm not much of a sports fan normally, they do become fun to watch for me on spice. Often times the players look like they're wearing very futuristic gear, and it can get crazy if you happen to have one of those super fast-forward trips. "Science without religion is lame. Atum appears on the smell of his censing, the Sunshine- god has risen in the sky, the Mansion of the pyramidion is in joy and all its inmates are assembled, a voice calls out within the shrine, shouting reverberates around the Netherworld." - Egyptian Book of the Dead

Twice I have smoked DMT with the tv accidentally on (I mute it when I'm not paying attention to it). Not thinking about turning it off I was smoking my spice and quickly had to turn the tv off both times because a. it was distracting me b. they were moving EXTREMELY fast. Very fast forward like. I DO know what you are talking about though and it is quite strange.
