everytime SWIM smokes spice he gets a migraine like headache in the back of his head where the skull meets the neck. none SWIM's friends get this effect from the same batch of spice SWIM used (maybe pressure in the head but not physical pain!) SWIM enjoys the effects of spice too much to stop using for this reason. but it is almost becoming unbearable! SWIM feels better when he takes ibuprofen but when it wears off they come back. sometimes the headache will linger for up to 3 or 4 days sometimes! SWIM knows its the spice that is causing this to happen, SWIM thought at first it was the leftover solvent, but that obv. wasnt the case. SWIM has looked all through the nexus and has heard of similar experiences, but noone has given a direct answer. PLEASE HELP! Crying or very sad

DMT feels like it significantly increases the rate of my metabolism.
After a DMT trip I am hungry, I pee, and after a while I can get a headache.
One remedy for this is drinking a lot of water before, during, and after the trip.
This should greatly reduce the potential for a headache.
Also I noticed I got headaches the more frequently I used DMT. So maybe use it less often if this is the case.

Bliss!

P.s. Eat something when you come down!!

I get them even though i drink a ton and use it seldomly.

I wonder if we'll ever find the cause for DMT headache. Perhaps it got to do with the route of administrtion, because with 30mg oraly, i do not get the same headache.

DMT relieves my headache for a few minutes. Probably me leaving my body behind for a while.

We are...
We are like that sentence.
We are not finished.

Id suggest maybe finding something else that scratches that itch

Why do you like smoking DMT?

What pipe and screen is used? It could affect it... I've never had an headace from GVG with copper mesh screen. Only bodyload sometimes, especially tense shoulders(from the intensity probably)

Heres an abstract that gives an okay hypothesis:

http://onlinelibrary.wil...6-4610.2002.02142.x/full

Ive never had headaches after use but I found it interesting how in this study, the headaches resembled those caused by nitroglycerin.
I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.

My nephew had a migraine headache once and I suggested he smoke some changa.

After taking one big toke, his headache got considerably worse for a second and then completely subsided completely after a minute or two.

well, i mean whats not to like? traveling through warp speed through the color tunnel into a perfect but overwhelming balance of colors and dimensions is what gets me everytime. that is why i enjoy it. and along with the great sense of well being afterwards. Also i need to put this in a seperate post but i and a few friends went into the woods today and had a little spice circle. but when i came back to reality i imidiately walked over to this Fungi looking mushroom/flower thing about 3 inches high and it was called a "indians pipe" i know for a fact that i have never seen this plant (found out it was a parasitic plant not a fungi after looking it up) before and that possibly the DMT guided me to this plant for some reason. it was just really cool looking i will put a link to it.

slight vasoconstriction in the neck. That is my theory on why this sometimes happens. Mescaline..psilocybin..DMT..ayahuasca..all of them can do it at times. Sometimes you sit in weird positions durring the trip and your muscles tense up all weird, especially with the slight vasoconstrictive effects...

Blankets and pillows in a comfortable spot to lay down without kinking your neck around etc or straining to stay sitting up seem to eliminate the problem for me..especially with mushrooms.

Dehydration never helps.

Harmalas never do this when I take them alone..and they are vaso-dialators.
Long live the unwoke.

it is so frustrating! i notice the headaches are worse on lower doses/non breakthrough doses. but i also came back from hyperspace with a migraine. it feels similar to the migraine i got when i was on mushrooms having a "bad trip" my mind was doing its best to fight the effects of the mushrooms. maybe i need to train my mind to let go better? i am jealous of my friend who can get off even on small doses. ugh.. Smile

..could it be neck-tension or dehydration related?
i decided to deal with my nicotine addiction after noting how unwell it made me feel on dmt (incl. headaches)..
hope you can work out what it may be...

i wonder if it is a combination of the dehydration and nicotine. i smoke a lot of cigs. about a pack to pack and a half a day. that is very interesting.

i am going to try to quit smoking for just like 2 or 3 days and see how it effects me, also before that i am going to try drinking a ton of water to make sure i have enough fluid in me. hopefully it is something i can figure out! i am about to set up a trial and error test and go the whole nine yards as it seems that some people get this same feeling every time they smoke it along with me

..best of luck Spiritous-Key with quitting nicotine for a few days..Smile
remember, it's ok to feel vulnerable, & (if it's getting tense, 1 puff every 6hrs or so will help with the withdrawls & is certainly better than a pack a day in combo with dmt,
i think it's about moderation, & conscious use, not absolutes..)
