I stumbled across this little abstract in The Journal of Nuclear Medicine a moment ago and I was wondering if anyone with access to these things could post a copy of the full text for us?

Thanks! Very happy

It's also posted in the Scientific Articles on DMT/Ayahuasca/Psychedelics sticky in the Information subforum... there may be some other papers in there you'd want to take a look at too.

Hmm, does this really mean that 1/10th of my dose might potentially be lodged in my brain for upwards of a week?

I cannot help but wonder about ramifications from potential "drug" tests to an explanation for HPPD after multiple large doses in a short time (I'm skeptical here). Personally, after a big dose of DMT, I feel a kind of "afterglow" for up to 72 hours. No way is it a week, in terms of my subjective feeling.

This is with vaporizing ROA which I believe comes very close to IV as the molecules reach the blood brain barrier within a couple/few heartbeats and are welcomed in via a process of active transport.

Makes me wonder if maybe I should ignore the call and smoalk moar as much as I want within a session but then wait at least 7 days before re-dosing.

Fascinating. Moar research! Very happy

Yeah this is really interesting. I get a kind of afterglow too for a couple of days. I have found myself having pretty loopy thoughts after a bunch of tightly spaced sessions, sometimes even for several weeks. A kind of detached un-realness. This takes weeks to fade. I try to only voyage with D a couple times a year because the detachment from reality can start to get in the way of some other things that are really important to me and my family. Other psychs can have this effect on me too but none are as severe as D.

Also, there are plenty of examples of Nexus members vaping a lot in a short time and ultimately 'getting their asses kicked.' Sometimes this is preceded by several failed launches. Could it be some kind of accumulation to a threshold?

Thanks Entro! I didn't realize that one was there already. That thread is a gold mine of info! I'll be digging around there for weeks lol
