Actually that wasn't the question. I am going to take acid but I am pretty nervous about it. I know that I can handle the intensity of it. But I'm am pretty nervous about the length of it and its possibility of turning into a bad trip.

One way I know of to combat a bad trip for me is to just do w/e it is I'm doing with one of my friends. But I'm not really sure I will have the chance to do it with one of my friends.

Since I've never done acid before do you believe that it would be safe to do alone? Would I even have to worry about it turning into a bad trip?

for SWIM, acid is the easiest of all the psychedelic substances to deal with.. Even in high doses SWIM can reasonably interact with the world

bad trips do not exist if you are in a comfortable nice place and situation, at least IMO.. Have some light food, some juice, some nice music, make the room organized, preferably have a place outside to go if possible, etc..

the only ' bad' thing about acid for SWIM is that it takes a loooong time to come down, and its hard to sleep. Plus in the next day SWIM is always a bit low-energy..

Its good stuff. It lasts a little longer than some substances but exhibits the same pattern of peak, plateau, decline; 2 to 3 hours from dropping and it will beginning to wane. Don't be too nervous and underdose or be heroic and eat loads and you will have a blast

Are you guys sure about that advice? Depends on the acid, doesn't it? I mean... really good lsd and the dude smokes a fatty of killer shit and he just might lose his marbles all alone for the first time in my opinion. LSD with strong weed never failed to put me into a compeletely different reality than just lsd alone... one of those infamous 'loops'.

I'd either say STAY AWAY FROM WEED until you are 1/2 way through or at least make sure you have a good friend to call to come over and babysit just in case. I'd also recommend lots of your favorite music... lots as in 8-10 hours... it sounds ***amazing**** on lsd.

Besides that, i'm jealous, i can't find it anywhere. It's one of the most incredible states of mind and you can really learn a LOT from clean lsd experience.

SWIM ALWAYS makes sure to have some weed or hash with him for every acid trip. Smoking a chillum on acid is great!

SWIM just recently aquired some acid and is uber excited about it. The stuff is harder to find than rockin horse shit, but he finally got his hands on it.
Wil be sure to try it with some MJ, but not on the first time

Totally agree flyboy, id also stay away from weed. Specially for your first acid, id want to do it with a friend for the first time tbh Ive had a couple of panic attacks recently with mushrooms and its always after ive smoked dope. Used to smoke it all the time now I hardly smoke it. Both times I had similiar thought loops and it was always after smoking dope. Im thinking oh im having a great time ill smoke a joint bring it on more then panic sets in, happened a few weeks ago after me saying id never do it again, smoked one it worked broguht it on then done another, exact same panic/ thought loop/processes as the time before, though it only lasted like 2 minutes but it was quite scary as it was the exact same thoughts as the time before, so im telling my friends dont give me weed when im tripping till its calmed down. Im actually shocked at this situation as I used to smoke a ton of it when on acid/shrooms now it freaks me out, amplifies those para weed thoughts I get sometimes tenfold.

I love using weed to bring the trip on. A joint after about 30-45 minutes does me just fine. It's when I smoke in the middle of my trip that the paranoia starts coming on.

hahaha a little paranoia is always fun though!! block of the windows...tear out the smoke alarms(you know they have cameras in that stuff)...take the batteries out of your cell phone...huddle in the corner with a friend taking bong hits...whispering about the conspiracy:-P

acid is just about the merriest thing there is when it comes to tryptamines. nothin better than some acid giggles. it is advised to dose somewhere between 75 and 125 mics if you wanna have a merry time.

I have two 250mic blotters and I just want to take half but I'm thinking if it works to just cut it in half. Isn't it quite possible that the whole dose is on one half of the blotter?

As with most psychedelics, it's all about set and setting. Just make sure you're with friends and you're in the right state of mind. For your first time I would recommend having about 100mgs and not mixing it with anything else. Just experience it on it's own before you start mixing things.


When I first started taking acid I used to do half. Not sure how many mgs were on the blotters, but doing half worked for me. My girlfriend would have the other half, and it worked for her to. So in relation to your question I would say no. The whole dose is spread over the entire blotter.

Those are altoids. Does lsd have a unique smell to it at all? I smelt the altoids and though i smelt somthin else maybe i'm just trippin. lol

two is often recomended but, in the 80s acid was sold but somtimes it was DOB or DOM with 20x dosage, know your source before upgrading IMHO, i just tried one hit yesterday and my stuff seems straight

Back when SWIM lived in San Francisco in the Height there was acid that was so strong that one tiny hit would blow most people away. Acid varies A LOT in potency. A decent blotter can hold enough for 4 people to trip really hard. Good quality thick absorbent blotter paper can hold up to 3000 micrograms of LSD for an average size square hit! But usually they only put about 100 micrograms or so. Running across acid that is that potent is rare. These days it’s usually extremely weak or cut with another compound or not even acid at all.

In SWIM’s area real acid doesn’t exist anymore. It’s all DOM, DOB, DOI, or one of the newer drugs.

just came down of 2 hits, was a great trip!

smoked some dmt at the end & saw a bunch of circus imagry(eyes closed) & noticed my rug patterns turning into faces & smiling at me(eyes open).. dmt is just so weird.
It makes me feel like life is a silly circus game
