I Already read this one https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=3072.
But I still got a few questions.

1) If i wash like a PH 10-12 solution down the sink isn't getting hot (maybe plastic pipes melt).
2) What to do with the used naptha, can it be used more then once. Or is there a recycling method, I would guess distillation.
3) What to do with still acified root barks. I would guess neutralize them (but how) and put them in the garden or forrest for composting, or is it not harmful to the environment to do this without neutralizing?

MY ESSAY:

Hello I would like to join this community to learn from others and to instruct and teach (later). I got a lot of experience with mushrooms and DMT is a very interesting substance. At the moment I read the spririt molecule and this website. My goal is to have a safe and enriching experience with DMT. Still I got lots of respect for this substance and I think I will ever have. Bye the way this forum is an extensive and remarkable collection of articels and other media.

Hi There,

Welcome to Nexus. For some reason, I'm not permitted to see the contents of your link. Anyway congrats on your extraction.

I cannot help but wonder why 1) and 3) are sepearate? You have large chunks of root bark? You did not powederize or shred it up into very fine pieces? Generally I take the basified root bark solution (powderized MHRB) and pour it right down the toilet. I flush first before I pour to minimize splashes. I flush several times afterwards to dilute the solution and push it further down the line. Folks routinely put lye solutions in their toilets and trains to clear them.

Regarding the solvent - I hear nahptha can be distilled but I do not have access to such specialized equipment. Therefore, I simply evaporate. Eliminate all sources of flame, pilot light and spark in the area. Place the naptha in a Pyrex dish. Put in a window with a fan on it. Exit the room and place a towel under the door. It will all evaporate away in a few hours.

Drain disposal is properly done in the following manner:

Protective gear (gloves, laboratory apron, and safety goggles) must be worn.
Before pouring the solution, turn on the tap to get a good flow of water to wash it down. Make sure that the sink and drain lines are washed free of any substances that will generate noxious gases when mixed with the solutions. These substances include cyanides, sulfides, bisulfides, sulfites, bisulfites, nitrates, and nitrites.
Pour the solution down the drain slowly, making sure that before, during and after pouring, the tap is turned on to provide a strong flow of water that aids in washing it down the drain.
The following are drain disposable materials:

Solutions Adjusted to a pH of 6 to 9 Polyhydrox - Alchohols
Hydrobromic acid Sodium hydroxide 1,2-Propylene glycol
Hydrochloric acid Potassium hydroxide Glycerol (glycerine)
Hydriodic acid Ammonium hydroxide Mannitol
Nitric acid Potassium carbonate (potash) Sorbitol
Phosphoric acid Sodium carbonate (soda ash)
Phosphorous acid Sodium pyrophosphate
Sulfuric acid Trisodium phosphate
Acetic acid
Formic acid

So if you put the NaOH in the sink there are no splashes or heat reactions, just to know what I've to expect? Also I want to do all the stuff outside, is it harmful for the environment if splashes of NAOH or Acid hit the soil. I mean does it pollute the soil?

HMM actually I dind't tried it yet, but ok lets say it's powder with some fibre. In the DMT Handbook the barkpowder is filtered before the solution gets basified. So the poweder/fibres/barks seem to be still acified regarding to this manual?

OK maybe I use it for lighter fuel or firelighter for barbecues. I haven't bought it yet but I think it's the most expensive chemical. Also I want to treat the environment with care.

Thx for the responses.
