+1

ive heard good things about spice gold and diamond but probably will never try them as who knows whats in it. Ive heard that people have tried to isolate the chemicals, but the way that they blend the ingredients makes it hard to separate constituents.
all of my posts are fictional. please interpret them as such.

I believe that what they say is in Spice + Spice Gold is probably in there and nothing more. The high these products give is not very similar to MJ, although there are some similarities.

However, Spice Diamond is something completely different. Spice diamond mimics MJ like nothing else I have ever tried (except Spike99 another "herbal smoke". We really enjoy a small bowl of Spice Diamond on the weekends.

I'm not horribly worried about smoking it occasionally, as my wife and I rarely ever smoke MJ or MJ like substances any more. I mean really, I've got a package of combo's in front of me, and if any of these chems listed on this package were listed on an herbal smoke I would never in my life smoke it. We ingest all sorts of weird chems every day when we eat processed foods...some of them harmful, some of them not.

Life is a game of russian roulette, and I'm going to enjoy my life while it lasts.

I have never heard of Spice, Spice Gold or Spice Diamond. The only thing I've come across in Sydney that resembles that is somethihg called "Stop smoke". Which is essentially just Damiana, Catnip, Hops, etc.

EDIT:
Just did a quick google search. One of the first links was a legal herb store in Australia that sells Spice Gold. It says the ingredients are:

Ingredients
Baybean, Blue Lotus, Lion's Tail, Lousewort, Indian Warrior, Dwarf Scullcap, Maconha Brava, Pink Lotus, Marshmallow, Red Clover, Rose, Siberian Motherwort, Vanilla, and Honey.
Xochipilli

Lousewort is another name for Pedicularis spp. (though it can refer to other things), and Indian Warrior is a particular species of Pedicularis. That's probably the main player in its psychoactivity. Blue lotus is psychoactive when smoked, but only VERY mildly. Pedicularis is actually reasonably potent (though not really like marijuana in my experience... it feels more like a heavy dose of muscle relaxers). Interesting.

I wonder what the secret ingredient in spice diamond is though?

If I had to guess, it would be either a synthetic cannabiniod that has not been made illegal yet, or some synthetic that tickles the cannabinoid receptors.

Side effects include: dry mouth, red eyes, hunger

These effects do not happen with Spice and Spice Gold, only Spice Diamond, Spike99, Chillin XXX, and a few other expensive "legal smokes".

There's a cannabinoïd in cocoabeans; anandamine. Maybe it's that, or there are just more herbal cannabinoids.

I noticed that marshmellow thing too. Thought that if people would smoke something like that, they would probably inhale lot's of carbonmonoxide and other toxic gasses, causing a sort of 'high'. But it's appears to be some realy existing herb.

I think you mean anandamide. And just to be clear, anandamide is not a cannabinoid. It's a fatty acid derivitive that serves as an endogenous neurotransmitter and acts as an agonist at the cannabinoid receptors (which could more appropriately be called anandamide receptors, since cannabinoids are not endogenous molecules.

The problem with these fatty acid cannabinoid receptor ligands being consumed orally is that there's almost no way for them to get across the blood-brain barrier, especially when consumed orally.

I just read about drugs and the related chemistry and biochemistry a lot, and a bunch of it manages to stick in this befuddled brain of mineLaughing
