Hello everyone. I have been studying DMT for a couple months now and plan on trying it this upcoming week. I have experience with psychoactive mushrooms but have never done lsd. I started smoking marijuana when I was fifteen and now smoke every day. I have found that marijuana and mushrooms have helped free me from a painful form of consciousness. Both of my parents have heavy clinical depression and have been treated with pharmaceutical drugs for quite some time. I have experienced the power psychoactive drugs have had on my own well being. I have witnessed the manner in which pharmaceuticals have affected my parents as well. The effects of pharmaceuticals seem to be more numbing and deadening (not effective). The drugs that I have experimented with seem more enlightening and uplifting. This is why I plan on smoking DMT. I currently am studying English and Philosophy at a major university. I wish for the world to change, and have seen how certain drugs can help change human minds in positive ways.

Take it easy.

Welcome aboard...

Remember to go into the spice with an open mind. Don't expect too many things out of it, rather, let it just be what it is and take you where it does.

That said, it's definitely had a profound and positive impact on my outlook on life. I don't smoke cannabis anymore as eventually, it just left me frayed and burnt out, but it's good for a season.

Good luck in your journeys!
"'Tis true, without falsehood, certain and most true.
That which is below is as that which is above, and that which is above is as that which is below, to accomplish the miracle of the One thing.
And as all things have arisen from one by the meditation of one: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation.
The Sun is its father, the Moon its mother,
the wind hath carried it in its belly, the earth its nurse."

All posts by the above author, HermeticShaman are fictional segments of a fictional fantasy book about fictional psychedelic journeys and travels to fantasy lands of wonder and imagination. Any resemblance to real events, intentions, conspiracy to commit illegal activities, or confessions of illegal activity are merely a convincing way to build up an epic plot line, and in no way represent the lifestyle or actions of the man behind the name.

Thank you, I appreciate the advice.

I have no idea what to expect but have not felt this curious about anything for quite some time.

I have also seen the negatives of prescription anti-depressants, definitely a numbing drug. It tricks you into thinking you are at peace when you are really not. I agree that you need to come into this with no expectations, because you may be frustrated at first. My original quest with psychedelics was for visuals, and to this day DMT is the only one that has given me what I was looking for, took many years of frustration for that haha. I think though that psychedelics can teach you a lot about yourself, and help you become at peace with the right mindset. Keep an open mind, and follow the good vibes!

Best of luck to you in your travels.
