As with nearly everything, storage is best when cold, dark, dry and airtight... So lets say alu foil, inside an airtight container with maybe a bit of dessicant in the fridge/freezer would be ideal.. or just as good as you can get. Light is one of the most important factors I would say, so alu foil is good idea.

Heat and air flow you want to prevent. vac seal in some tin foil then put into fridge. “Psychedelics are like square roots. They can take you from a place you know, to a place you never imagined could have existed”

I agree fully with Endlessness- the method he cites has allowed me to keep blotters for a couple of years with no obvious loss in potency.I kept it in a freezer but prepared in the way endlessness mentions especially the bit about the aluminium foil. I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.

Some good info about lsd I thught I would add. from chemindustry.com Chemical Name: d-lysergic acid diethylamide Chemical Formula: C20H25N3O CAS Number: 50-37-3 Synonyms: D-Lysergic acid N,N-diethylamide;Lysergide;Ergoline-8-carboxamide, 9,10-didehydro-N,N-diethyl-6-methyl-, (8«beta» -;Ergoline-8«beta»-carboxamide, 9,10-didehydro-N,N-diethyl-6-methyl-;(+)-LSD;D-Lysergic acid diethylamide;D-LSD;D-LSD-25;Delysid;Dextrolysergic Acid diethylamide;Lysergic acid diethylamide-25;Lysergsaure diethylamid;LSD (Alkaloid);LSD 25;N,N-Diethyl-(+)-Lysergamide;N,N-Diethyl-D-lysergamide;N,N-Diethyllysergami Use: hallucinogenic drug, banned for anything other than Appearance: crystalline solid Melting Point: 80 - 85 C Stability: Stable. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents. Molecular Weight: 323.4321 there is also some great information at http://www.emcdda.europa...ations/drug-profiles/lsd....after posting this I was reading more about stereoisomers and lsd. I have read that the dextro (d) isomer is the only active isomer, but the site I posted (has lots of accurate lsd info) says its R isomer is more potent than its S isomer. Is the website inaccurate? anyone able to clarify this information? “Psychedelics are like square roots. They can take you from a place you know, to a place you never imagined could have existed”

surround the paper with tinfoil, place it in a vaccum paceked baggy kept inside a box inside the freezer is what I think would be ideal.
I have never ever taken part in the illicit and immoral use of dangerous narcotics nor is anything I say real. In reality, I'm a figment of your imagination and what I say has no meaning nor purpose. Don't take it seriously ''man''. The best you can do is ignore me, seriously.

Endlessness and epiphany_awakening are totally correct. In the case of LSD, the most contributing factors to breakdown of the compound is light and to a lesser degree moisture. If you keep it in the fridge or freezer, you should therefore make sure the package is absolutely and totally air&water-tight. Use double or triple ziplock bags if needed.

I found a black star in my wallet, not wrapped in anything that I had forgotten for around a year and it was still an utterly ridiculous ride. That wallet must have been through a lot in that year, so I was quite surprised it worked at all.

i'd find a small brown glass bottle, and even though I do it myself I wouldn't wrap it in foil for long term storage(something about the fragile nature of the crystal and the reactivity of aluminum can't back it up though) But wrap the glass in foil to protect from light. Fill the glass with carbon dioxide gas and cap. dryice may also be used, atleast this is the case for mushroom storage. This will help prevent oxidation. I wouldn't put it in the freezer either, unless you are planning for long term storage. Pulling the glass out of the freezer is going to cause condensation to form unless you slowly bring it to room temp. Unless your container is 100% airtight this can be a problem. BUT AGAIN this is my idea for longterm storage. I heard Vitamin C also prevents oxidation. I have never used this method; however, it should work well

wrap the papers in a thin plastic or cellophane , put it in a small airtight plastic box , and then put it in the refrigerator illusions !, there are no illusions there is only that which is the truth

Would a few weeks in room temp make a big difference in how they degrade compared to the freezer? i really don´t wan´t to keep anything illegal around at my home.

LSD is a rather unstable chemical, and so heat and even light will break it down and weaken the dose. If there are only a few strips, hiding them would seem to be easy in a freezer. However, if kept out of light and at around 70 degrees (Fahrenheit) or below, the decomposition shouldn't be all that fast, but it will definitely occur.

Just stick it in something airtight, keep it away from heat, light, and moisture, and it should last years. The less exposure to anything, the longer it will last. Room temperature is fine but if storing for years, a stable cool temperature might work a tad better. Every chemical reaction happens faster with heat, but if it's not exposed to anything, then even getting a bit warm shouldn't hurt anything.
