I decided this morning to take a bath instead of a shower and to grace this decision with a spice journey.

I filled the tub full of water feeling a little apprehensive and set my smoking device and a lighter on the counter beside the tub so that I wouldn't accidentally get it wet. I proceeded to enter the water which was steaming hot still feeling quite anxious. Breathing in deeply I was calming myself down, and laying down the intent to find the true nature of water. Once I was in the mindset I needed to be in, I lifted the vaporizer to my lips, and inhaled deeply. The now familiar sensation started to creep up my legs as I exhaled and drew in another breath full of spice vapor.

As I exhaled, I knew that this is where I needed to start. This was the first time I have heard the ringing in my ears because usually my body is just knocked out, and I am shot into a crazed landscape full of intensity. I think maybe I am starting to get a feel for how much I need to have a true experience. My body became alien-like, almost amphibious, as the still water caressed it. I became too engrossed in what my body was morphing into to see the true nature of water.

I figured it was time so I took another deep breath of spice with my intent now back in focus. I went into this vision-state of a pure black void with nothing in it but myself and the water. My thoughts drifted to the fact the we are a little over 60% water, and the boundary between my body and the water became very misconstrued. The water was of a beautiful transparent blue, and my body just darkness. It wasn't darkness like the void, but compared to the water it was very dark. This place became a sanctuary, a temple of sorts, dedicated to purifying my soul. It was a very personal place, but at the same time I felt the need to share it with everyone.

As my surroundings started to come back into existence, I wanted to go back. I went to light the vaporizer, but my lighter was dead. I'm pretty sure that I didn't get water in it, but it wouldn't light. I was out of fluid... Sad

The water then became a symbol of purifying myself, preparing myself for the onslaught of today's reality. I cleaned myself thoroughly, and watched as the "dirty" water disappeared down the drain. I was at baseline now, feeling an afterglow of deep peace. My body stills feels like I just finished a detox. I can feel all of my energies flowing. Everything just feels right. I am prepared to handle my day.

Thanks for letting me share this experience. I like to think that the spice had something to do with my lighter being out of fluid, like I need to come back to that place when I have more time to learn. It was only a glimpse of something that one day will manifest itself into a trip that will leave me deeply satisfied.

A haiku I thought of after the experince Smile :
It's warm welcoming
It's cleansing prevailing white
It overtakes me

Thanks for sharing! Sounds like a great experience. Did you have someone there to watch you or at least check up on you? I had been planning on trying spice in the tub as well, and am really looking forward to it now after reading your post.

No, I'm not comfortable with sitters. It's probably dumb not to, but after taking quite a few psyches, I am comfortable taking care of myself.

Taking spice in the tub is as I found out really dangerous as I kept having the idea to go under the water. It takes a little bit of will to go against what psyches tell you to do while under the influence. I very strongly suggest having someone if you fear drowning. Pleased but it all just depends on what you are comfortable with. (I'm comfortable being a moron apparently.)

Now that the warnings are issued, it was pretty awesome...

I'm not as concerned with drowning as I am with the possibility of becoming uncomfortable and trying to stand up or get out of the tub and falling. I think the shock of inhaling water if you went under would be enough to make you pull your head out from the water, but who knows. SWIM prefers to use spice alone too, but he thinks he'll have a friend in the next room if he tries this just in case. Anyone else ever try this?

Sounds like an awesome experience Ice. Glad you felt so revitalized. Smile
Think I'll be trying this, but at lower end doses.

@emptymind
Here is a thread on being in the shower after smoking spice. I thought you might be interested if you haven't already seen it. https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=18199

@distracted
