Ohh sounds pretty interesting. When is the release date? March '11?

Really great movie. Such an awesome concept as well.

If you are the type of person who has aspired to do something in life, yet has never found the motivation to get things done, this is a great movie to watch.
People spend their lives searching for perfect moments and fail to see, that there are many unappreciated perfect moments everyday that are overlooked.

Well, if all a "brain working at 100% of it's capacities" makes you want to do is fuck tons of women in the toilets, make loads of money, and become a politician, i'll keep my barely functioning brain thank you. Don't lose a minute watching this, imho.
it's about making life a neverending experience of wonderfulness!

I found the movie to be a great concept and it made me re-think certain aspects of my life . And for me that made it a good movie . If you didn't connect with the film in the same way then that is unfortunate .

However I do not understand your post . Would you have preferred him to be more productive, instead of making money and getting girls ? Or to have studied science and furthered the worlds knowledge of science or something along those lines ? Because if so, in my opinion, that would not have made an interesting movie .

Some might say that the "news" of the cultural assumption that the immediate motivations of all people all the time is money and pussy is not "very interesting."

It's somewhat of a cliche idea, and many find cliche boring. Perhaps a more interesting story might have had the protagonist INITIALLY show interest in those things, but almost as quickly get BORED with them (as a result of his enhanced "intelligence" ), and move on to "richer" areas of interest.

Personally, yeah, if I were the guy, I'd want to put together a little nest egg of money. After that, the first thing I'd be interested in is learning more about the compound in question, how it works on my brain (and thus learn more about my brain), and whether it would be useful to widely distribute it.

I once was on a forum where people were asked "if you could do anything, what would it be." Most people gave answers like "feed the hungry" and "make world peace." I stunned people with my response: "I would have ALL SENTIENT CREATURES everywhere in the universe know and understand EVERYTHING THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE KNOWN, from the past present and future." The idea is that knowledge and understanding alone can potentially solve ALL PROBLEMS at one swoop. Universal happiness (and all other positive things) would "have to" ensue from the condition of all sentient being becoming, essentially "Super Buddhas."

This is beautiful! This is absolutely the future I wish to live in and will actively work to manifest now!

Cool !

I like your response: One can ALWAYS work on this task in whatever way one can, at any time. Promoting knowledge and understanding for and to oneself and others is the "best" and "most human" thing that can be done in the world.

I congratulate you for your intention!

yeah, i really enjoyed this movie.. it actually motivated me, talking about limitless intelligence,, idky but i've always put a limit on it, not anymore...lol.. but the movie definitely had a kinda lame story, imho.. very hollywood.. but they definitely had to make it that way to get it to sell,,.. i'm just glad they're putting ideas out there ..... i especially like the part about remembering to eat and sleep.. hahaha...

*****SPOILER*** WARNING MOVIE SPOILER**** green lantern

anyone seen green lantern??... super cool.. with the right will power, one can manifest anything of the imagination.. wow.. and then the battle against fear!! wtf... i hope i didn't spoil it for anyone

....just wanted to say... i don't wanna know everything in the universe... i love to learn.. i love the infinince of the universe... i love that it is ever expanding and that therefor there will always be new life.. new creation.. new knowledge... ....if i knew everything, it would take the thrill out of discovery, kinda suck away the magic...

but super charging the being,, , it definitely feels like that is apart of the future... it's so exciting as we integrate into this.. i wonder how much energy there will be after the full shift
everything posted by godling is false information.. just imagination at work

I am learning not to search for eve anymore but to just 'be' with her for she is already the other half of my soul and one day we'll organically meet as we reach across the cosmos to one another..now comes the light of love

Well, SWIMfriend has already nicely put into words what i also feel a "superbrain" would hopefully invariably lead to. A movie on that theme could have been so much more inspiring...
But anyway, after watching this, i strongly doubt that the filmmaker has the capacity to create something better than what i consider a basic 1000-a-year hollywood prod, although i wish him the best in life. I guess "Limitless 2" will speak of itself one day...
