I listen to an array of genres. I really enjoy psychedelic/classic rock, electronic music such as Tycho, indie, a little bit of dubstep when I feel like having fun on psychedelics, eastern music, pretty much anything minus most rap and country.

edit: weird... why is my post above the OPS? Am I the only one seeing it this way lol?
“The most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”

I was just thinking and I don't know about others but I know for a fact music is the best additive to an experience. What songs do you like to listen to while exploring conciousness/just chillin'? What type of music gives you perfect vibes?

I usually listen to electro-house when I eat mushrooms. I always seem to live the music. When I do smoke weed on the rare occasion some smooth dubstep is good. When I'm mellow I like to listen to acoustic, indy and lounge type music.

It'd be great to hear everybody's preferences Very happy
Music is Great
Music is Good
Music is LIFE (for me at least! Very happy )

Regards,

Periphery

I rarely listen to music during a DMT session, but for some reason this song reminds me of DMT (and you wouldn’t think so). At the 1:50 mark and again at the 3:10 mark, I almost feel like I’m having a breakthrough.

(Ignore the video and just listen to the song!)

i have to admit this one is kinda a personal theme song for me, it can help me have beautiful experiences at low-medium doses.
i listen to music very occasionally when with the spice so i haven't worn it out yet Smile
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPxmS3HuEms
but i prefer no music when taking a plunge.

otherwise i like very ambient stuff
ambient/electronic is great
i can enjoy shpongle at medium doses.
my favorite is like shaman jungle music (idk what it really is) but i lost all the ones i found that were like that :\
but when i first met the spice i started getting into all different music so i would always listen to songs i didn't know.
that was pretty interesting.
listening to songs the i know and have a emotional history with can sometimes be quite overwhelming.
I've been bookmarking and checking out all music that gets posted on here, there is probably still some really good stuff i missed.
hah i just remembered i used to dance at low doses, haven't done that in a while.

You just turned me on to ambient, I usually don't get into it, but this is some heavy stuff. Thank you

That tune takes me back. I'm DJing this weekend and have "Roll Us a Giant" by IM as the final tune. Also, Classical Mushroom is one of my favourite psy albums of all time. They have gone completely down hill over the years and i can't stand any of their new stuff. A shame really, but common among psytrance artists who become big and then turn into commercial poopyness.
