Does anyone know any good mild drugs that are legal or easily obtained through extraction? I want a drug that I am still able to function normally on that doesn't make me tired and doesn't make it difficult for me to move.

jenkem?

but in all seriousness...perhaps smoked harmalas?

What exactly are you looking for? What are you trying to do/achieve with this? Is it like the constant euphoria thread you posted?

The reason I want to learn of the existance of a good mild drug is because my friend hates his job but he does it because he needs the money, in his shit job he has been on codeine, harmalas and 5-meo-DALT, not altogether but individually. My friend has told me of his experiences with these drugs at his work.

On codeine my friend felt really tired and doing work was more difficult even though the work was more interesting with the euphoria, so codeine is not an option for my friend.

On 5-meo-DALT, time slowed down and because everything was wobbling it was hard for my friend to be accurate in what he was doing, he knocked a big tub of washing up liquid into the sink because he couldn't work out where it was because of the visual distortions. Each hour felt like 7 hours which made his work feel worse.

On harmalas there were no problems but it was so mild that my friend could not feel it so there was no point to taking the harmalas.

What my friend wants is a good, mild drug that he can use while doing his job. Do stimulants make people faster at doing their work? If so does anyone know of a good, legal stimulant?

Not to judge, but I don't think drugging oneself into perpetual apathy is the healthiest approach in that situation. If lack of job satisfaction is the issue, pursuing an alternate career path would probably be more conducive to personal growth than trying to drug the problem away. If masking the issue with drugs is the desired path, I think psychiatrists often prescribe SSRI "antidepressants" for this purpose.

I apologize if this goes against the discouraged drug talk rule, but laborers in the Far East use kratom to get through their manual labor. That drug has addictive qualities, though.
"'Most men will not swฮนm before they are able to.' Is not that witty? Naturally, they won't swฮนm! They are born for the solid earth, not for the water. And naturally they won't think. They are made for life, not for thought. Yes, and he who thinks, what's more, he who makes thought his business, he may go far in it, but he has bartered the solid earth for the water all the same, and one day he will drown."

In my life I have been on prescription SSRIs twice, once on Prozac and when after being on it for three months and it not doing ANYTHING positive I was given another SSRI called Citalopram, I was on that for about 2 months before I went to my doctor and said that they weren't working. I have looked up all antidepressants that are prescribed in the UK and the only one that might work for me is an opioid which the doctors probably won't prescribe me.

Rhodiola rosea.

It is more than placebo and does different things to different people at different doses (half a cap up to a few caps where "high dose" effects might level off), so playing with dosing each day will be entertaining as well. Some reported effects include: calming, stimulating, mood boosting, prolonged energy, anxiolysis. Will not be mentally sharpening.

Get a good extract with high rosavins and salidroside content i.e. 250mg w/ 3% rosavins is 7.5mg ros. v 250mg w/ 5% rosavins is 12.5mg etc. Keep this in mind when dosing or trying to reproduce anecdotal results. Available otc or via internets.

Some users report a tolerance from perpetual use so if you are inclined to believe that sort of stuff then don't take it on the weekends or take a week off each month.

MDAT is a pretty gentle compound that works nicely at 300-350mg, like a cokey e feel. Other than that, perhaps amt or 6-apb??

I would have to say this as well, although all the cautionary words about addictiveness do come along with it. An energizing strain of Kratom would certainly help. I'm told thai kratom strains are more energizing than sedating. Tolerance does jump very quickly, so daily use is not really practical, without even taking the addictive risks into consideration.

I would go more for ginseng, yerba mate, some gentle herbal stimulant.

And like has been said, drugging yourself into a state of apathy isn't healthy.

Cannabis is nice. Typically Sativas give one more of a cerebral creative "up" high, while Indicas give more of a relaxed, dreamy, "down" stone. Mixing the two or finding hybrids with the right combos of both for your (or your friends) particular balance and needs is important. What I like is to find the purest version of both a really powerful Sativa and a really powerful Indica and mix the two at different proportions during the day. 3-1 Sativa to Indica during the day for the up, then switching to 1-3 Sativa to Indica at night and finally just straight Indica to go to sleep. I'm very sensitive to Sativas so I have to cut them off around 8PM or I will not get to sleep at all. Working on Cannabis is pretty easy unless you overindulge, and even then a few hours later you should be fine again. When I have to do boring repetative tasks I personally find Cannabis to be a welcome friend. Everyone is different and some people experience the opposite of the Sativa up and Indica down, so if you or your friend do not have much experience you will need to experiment a bit. Also, I'm in an area where medical grade Cannabis is plentiful and things have been tested for purity and THC and CBD levels as well as the general amount of Sativa to Indica, but many places you have no idea what you are getting and the sources do not know and do not care, so be careful and pay attention.

Best of luck

I won't be using Kratom as I would be using it frequently and my tolerance would increase way too quickly meaning that I would be doing my job to fund a kratom habit that I started so I could cope with my job, which is stupid. I'm still deciding between the other drugs though.

Perhaps some goals to work towards like going out and getting laid with super hot chicks, and fitness training to develop feelings of hope, rather than simply look for an easier way out??

So, to recap, you want a substance that makes boring things enjoyable, keeps you alert and able to function, does not cause addiction or tolerance, is cheap and, let me guess, leaves your health mostly intact.

Don't kid yourself into thinking a substance will do all that for you without taking anything away. When it's not the difficulty of the experience, it's the toll it takes on some aspect of you. I think your best bet is exercise and good food, for real. Healthy living can cause addiction, though, so be warned.

I have to repeat, as per the "continuous euphoria" thread, that--looking from the outside--I feel it's useful to say that you should go in another direction on this issue; probably, that you should try to find a therapist who is well-suited to help you address your problems. Truly, I just don't see constant drug use as providing a satisfactory solution to almost ANY problem--although occasionally, with physical ailments, it's the ONLY solution that works at ALL (for example, cardiac arrhythmia problems).

You might try a spell living as a hermit--COMPLETELY away from ALL society and social interaction. I've done that, living far out in the desert, and the effects were EXTREMELY positive; a complete regeneration of my spirit.
