I would like to talk about my recent activity on this forum in an effort to help some people understand me.

It all started when I challenged the no CT's rule witch I don't think was a good idea in retrospect, I'm a fairly new member here and really have no business making a stink over the rules the owner of this site put in place for reasons I wasn't here to see.

I hold certain beliefs that I'm sure many of you share, I do believe there is a group of people the ' illuminati' as its called that have some unsavory plans for the world, I've seen enough evidence of this to convince me.

Because these plans of theirs trickle down into ever facet of our lives I felt that the topic of Conspiracy theory was too broad to be banned and I also believe that exposing what they are doing is our moral obligation.

Most of us agree that the world is in a pretty tumultuous state right now and the united states is leading the free world in a bad direction Hence my support of Ron Paul.

Some of you have pointed out that he can't do what he says he will do witch makes him a liar, that the constitution doesn't allow the president to do very much and this is where it gets spiritual for me because I really don't want to believe that violent revolution is the only way to deal with this problem.

the constitution wasn't supposed to allow for a lot of things that have happened to america yet they happened anyways, It was my hope that the same could be true for positive change.

Ron paul is a pro lifer and thats what got me wondering about how people in this community feel about that issue.

So to any I may have offended with my posting about all of this I really want to apologize.

from here on out I'm going to avoid these kinds of discussions on the nexus just because I love this place to much to create tension here.

~ wishing you all the best

Thank you for your support of this forum, and please note that not everyone perceives each others character solely through their political ideals; you are welcomed here as is anyone else.

Might I suggest helping to introduce - and educate when needed - the new comers to the forum? It's always nice to stop by the Welcome Area.
Do not listen to anything, "Steely" says. He is a made up character that his owner likes to role play with. His owner is very delusional and everything he says is completely untrue and ridiculous.

I was close to challenging it as well... it's difficult to say what is a conspiracy theory and what is not. They are unverifiable... but banning the discussion of them all together makes little sense when a thread can bring a group of people together to collectively analyse it and try to pull, if anything, some part of it which makes some useful sense

It's my view that many conspiracy theories are created from conscious and unconscious contents developed through interactions with the world... and in this way they are interpretable like dreams are, they can reveal aspects of the believer/creators character and the environment which surrounds them. The Illuminati is a very understandable one... because our social situation in the world at the moment is so messed up that it may seem as if it cannot be accidental

Hey Ray, I was one of the folks who questioned whether Ron Paul could accomplish much of what he has been talking about. I didn't intend to send negativity your way but maybe I did. I might be a little angry and cynical on this topic since we already have everything we could ever want on this earth and yet we collectively choose to screw it up all to often.

It's hard to communicate tone with text. If we were talking 1 on 1, my thoughts might have been received differently. I actually agree with a lot of what Ron Paul believes. It's just that this thing we call America seems like a big ship and even if the rudder is pulled sharply, the ship takes a long time to respond.

This forum has a lot of smart people and many are very independent thinkers. I like it when people express their thoughts, especially the ones that challange my thinking. I wouldn't be here otherwise and I've learned so much.

If we only posted ideas that were easy to accept, this would be a boring place. Keep on posting.
