Have posted another thread about using caapi to treat depression. Have used caapi on a daily basis for several months and have noticed a good side effect of weight loss. I don't know if it is just me, or if it is the vine, so I am curious to see if anyone else has had any similar experience. Both my girlfriend and I have noticed our clothes getting baggier and we're able to fit into clothes that were previously a little too tight. We haven't lost tons of weight, but we've lost enough to notice a marked difference. It seems as if caapi calms the anxiety and fear that leads to emotional over eating. It doesn't necessary curb appetite, but I think a large portion of most people's weight problems stems from mental and psychological processes. The thing is, I've been craving to exercise more, which I have never had. Also crave raw veggies and fruits instead of junk. Ever since taking the caapi I've wanted to move my body more. I can feel myself heading down a path that is automatic health, for lack of a better expression. We'll see 6 months from now and I will update this thread. Have you had similiar experiences? Please share. "Talent does what it can, Genius does what it must"

There is a connection between seratonin levels and carb, oil and sugar metabolism, which is connected to stress hormones as well. It's also connected with a feeling of being satisfied, there for not in a constant state of craving. I had a period of caapi vine 'microdosing' for about a month or so, sometimes patchy, but I was smoking it a couple times a day every day (very harsh on the lungs, wouldn't recommend it). I was also using it in an attempt at caapi therapy for depression, I did have some positive results in that respect as well, keeping in mind that it was a tool not an answer. But I do remember craving healthier, less processed foods as well. Living to Give

I cant believe I didn't see this thread here, I started a thread about this same idea under a different name, 'using ayahuasca or dmt as a dietary suppliment' "I maintain that Truth is a pathless land, and you cannot approach it by any path whatsoever, by any religion, by any sect." Ok, it's been a few months since SWIM started using caapi. I'll say approximately six months since first experimenting with it periodically and a good three months since taking it regular on a daily basis or semi-daily basis. SWIM has gone from a pants size 44 to a 38 now. This morning I had no clean jeans left, so I dug into a pile of clothes that were clean but a few sizes too small. I grabbed a pair of jeans which I KNEW were too small for me, never wore them ever, bought them thinking it could fit at the time, but it didnt. Well today I tried them on and they fit! They are a tiny bit snug in the button area, but everywhere else they fit perfect! WOW. I have not been on any diet (at least consciously), although my activity level has gone up, (due to the cravings caapi gives me to go out in nature and move around, and do stuff and also my moods and psychological disposition being more positive due to caapi helping me work through issues). I also have had cravings for healthier food, so I think it's snuck up on me that I am eating healthier by default and not out of a sense of obligation or desperation. In any case, it feels great and now I have tangible proof to my ever skeptical mind that this all isn't just imaginary. Caapi is greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat!
