just wanted to take a moment to say high. some may already know me from some of the myco-sites. i normally go under the nym of the_chosen_one from mycotopia. i'm keeping the nym abreviated here and may change it at home as well if i like what i see Smile

also, i am taking an interest in phalaris grass as a dmt source and expect to be exporing some of the amazing info here.

see everyone around!

much love

Welcome to the Nexus!

So did you try dmt yet? Orally, or vapped? What phalaris can you get around there, and whats your current plan on extracting it, if theres any?

See you around!

thanks!

yes. both.. and i believe phalaris arundinacea. i drive a river valley almost daily that has several miles of it. even found a source near home. the extracting part is why i am here. i know it's a little more complicated than bark.. so i wanted to see what the pros had to say Pleased

thanks again!

a question Wut? i was going to share some pics in the mushroom forum, but i am too new to be allowed to post there. i figured i would post a few in this thread and stir up some conversation, but i can't figure out how to upload pics to the site. perhaps this is not allowed yet as well?

this system is a little different than the VB i am used to at 'topia. Embarrased

any help is certainly welcome!

much love

HA! nevermind lol... just keep clickin' guy Embarrased

ok this is a copy of a thread i posted over at 'topia, so some of it might not make sense..

P. Caerulescens (Tonila Group) Aqua & Red Style

well, sort of.

the intent was to duplicate a method used by my friend Aqua&Red.. whom i have not seen lately. i always worry when the last thing some one posts is a strong exotic.. good vibes your way my friend and hoping all is well!

as in aqua's thread i am using plain old PF jars. the only difference being i used millet instead of brf. the jars colonized in about six weeks at room temps. once fully colonized the verm barrier was removed and replaced with a casing layer consisting of about 70% cactus soil and 30% sand taken from a creek bank near by. almost clay like when harvested, but powdered upon drying.

now i screw up

i cover the cased jars with the original lids for what was meant to be three days max. only due to some outside circumstances the jars were forgotten for about 7-8 days. as suspected the casings had completely overlaid. i mean bad!

..but, it was only two jars so i figured what the hell. let's dunk'em over night, toss 'em in a myco bag as is and see what they do. all i can say is it may be the best protective layer against mold contams i have ever seen! lost zapos. lost quilas. lost sempervivas.. all growing the same way but with out the extreme overlay. victims of trich on the casing layer. but not the Tuff Guy Tonila

it's not a raving success from a production point of view. the tallest fruits are about 6" tall. i doubt there will even be much dry weight in the end.. but look at them go!

one thing i have noticed is these are tenaciously hanging onto the casing layer. the one leaning is simply growing that way. i've never had them not fall over with conventional grows.. though these caps are much smaller due to the air restrictions of the myco bag. nice thing is these just grow on the kitchen counter.

sorry, not the best pics.. but, enjoy!

sorry for being lazy.. i get interupted a lot and this was much easier Smile
