Someone wants to do a Mescaline HCL Recrystalization to get it as pure as they can.

They have read a lot of posts on here but they are not sure they are getting it right.

Here is what they plan on doing.

They have about 3 grams of Mesc HCL(From P. Torch Powder) that they salted out at a PH of 6.6 so its relatively pure already.

They are going to use a double boiler and to the already boiling water they are going to put in a quart mason jar and heat some wet acetone to 180 degrees Farenheit.

They are then going to remove jar and replace with a Quart jar containing 3 grams Mesc HCL.

They will add hot wet acetone till mesc mostly dissolved.

They will then add boiling water drop by drop till all mesc is dissolved

They will then reduce by boiling to half the volume of acetone in the jar

They will then remove from heat and add 1/4 the original volume of dry(anhydrous)acetone

They will then let cool to room temperature

They will put in fridge for one hour then back in room temperature for one hour a total of three times to get as big crystals as they can

Then put in fridge for one hour then freezer for one hour a total of three times
then leave in freezer till crystals crash out

Then filter in vacum filter

Pour cclean dry acetone over it

Then dissolve in hot(180 degree F.) water

Then put in shot glass to slowly evaporate till about 10 % original volume of water left

Then decant remaining water(Save for next extraction) and scrape off crystals and dry in dessicator overnight

Will this work...

Any advice or other methods appreciated

Thanks
