So, after swims nice and leisurely a/b using d-limo and fasw/fasi/and a little fasa to salt his alkaloids he was left with a crumbly, bitter, yellow powder. Each salting method was used on different pulls, not combined in one salting. He knew it was not pure n,n dmt fumarate, and most definitely had some other alkaloids and possibly fats and or oils.

Swim collected approx 2+ grams of jimjam fumarates from his two 100g extractions. He had no prob. using the product as-is for pharma, and even fb'ed some and made changa with anhydrous iso. Worked fine, well rather well for pharma, and so-so for vaporizing. Swim thinks its either oxidized, or the iso pulls some impurities as well. Anyway, swim recently got a hold of some anhydrous acetone. He had heard lots of reports of people washing excess fumaric acid from their pulls, usually because fasa pulls less other alkaloids and more nn. However, swims jimjam fumarates were precipitated or salted from his limo with multiple solvents, and probably contributed to its full-spectrumness.

So swim decided one day to wash his remaining fumarates with acetone, partly bec. swim is doing another extraction on 500g mhrb and will have more spice to work with. He wanted to test this on this spice so he can use it in that tek. 1.130g of jimjam-fumarates were washed with anhydrous acetone. Swim pulled until the acetone took on a clear color v. yellow. He was left with approx 750mg of pinkish fumarates that looked much nicer than before, and had none of the waxiness displayed previously. He evapped the acetone and was left with an orange/yellowish crumbly powder.

Swim is wondering, does anyone have any info as to what was separated? IE- have you experienced anything like this washing fumarates with acetone? Also, hes sure that there's something active in the orange wax. Hoverer, it would have to be jungle, or n-oxide or something else.

Any comments or information/links are welcome.

Thanks-

In a society in which nearly everybody is dominated by somebody else's mind or by a disembodied mind, it becomes increasingly difficult to learn the truth about the activities of governments and corporations, about the quality or value of products, or about the health of one's own place and economy.
In such a society, also, our private economies will depend less upon the private ownership of real, usable property, and more upon property that is institutional and abstract, beyond individual control, such as money, insurance policies, certificates of deposit, stocks, etc. And as our private economies become more abstract, the mutual, free helps and pleasures of family and community life will be supplanted by a kind of displaced citizenship and by commerce with impersonal and self-interested suppliers...

Some d-limo as well. there was a strong orange flavor to the original fumarates ?
and how did you proceed to FB your fumarates ? (you said it doesn't work well) Did they change appearance after freeebasing ?
Smell like tea n,n spirit !

there was no orange smell, and when swim fb'ed the spice, he used caoh. made a paste, dried and pulled with iso. it came out as a dark red oil. swim thinks that n-oxide fumarate could be soluble in acetone. or its fats oils, mabey he will defat the orange acetone soluble stuff in warm naptha and see if anything dissolves.

swim will add pics of his spice when he gets home from work this afternoon and can do a defat.

Well, swim washed his orange spice with warm naptha. Little to nothing dissolved, hes pretty sure its actives. SWIM is at a loss as to what he has separated. Does anyone have any idea as to what this compound could be by its solubility? Its very soluble in acetone, insoluble in naptha, and its a fumaric salt. He has also used the same dlimo on some p. torch, could there be some of those alkaloids left?

Swim thought that mabey, since fasa precipitates nice clear crystals, "other" alkaloids get caught up in the acetone and don't precipitate. When swim used water to salt, perhaps other alkaloids did not get caught up in solution and moved to the aqueous layer. Would be cool to confirm, and also be a cool way to get clean fumarates, and still be able to get jungle/n-oxide spice as an extra.

Hell, when swim does his next extraction he will be sure to fasa out his alkaloids, then wash the dlimo/tone mix with water to evap that and get jungle/n-oxide and any remaining nn-dmt. Anyone currently or recently doing fasa, it would be appreciated if you could try washing your dlimo/tone with water after precipitation to see if anything novel comes out, and report back of course! Wink

Anyway swim will be testing his spice via pharma soon, hopefully when he gets some more time off from work he can also test the orange stuff via pharma.
