SWIM has been afraid to go in without music for some time now. SWIM had the shit scared out of him one time in the middle of a trip when his neighbors dog starting freaking out and squealing like it was being stabbed to death. He uses his HD580 headphones with the volume as high as he can stand. He finds intricate instrumental music to be the most enjoyable. SWIM's been diggin this lately http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAzk4-xSZh8Also, SWIM finds that after drinking a few beers and smoking a low dose, listening to some music with visuals going (ProjectM or Milkdrop) is especially awesome. I like fish tacos

For shrooms, my favourite band is definitely the original Hawkwind or Space Ritual. Their music always sends me back to that place Hawkwind: Space is DeepMaster of the UniverseEnjoi Much Love, Sally xx เฅ . Amateur Entheogen Botanist. I just listen to whatever I like at the time.
I'm a silence guy for DMT but if using harmaloids I'll have music sometimes.

Still yet to blast off but I think my DMT sessions will be in silence, so I don't get distracted or influenced. <3 Tool, some Shpongle too. Locked up inside you, like the calm beneath castles, is a cavern of treasures no one has been to.

I'm still a believer that Rodrigo Y Gabriela is the absolute best guide. Turn down the lights and hit go on the 11:11 album and let the music guide you through an organic peaceful place http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-qgum7hFXkThirdEyeVision It's the third eye vision, five side dimension The 8th Light, is gonna shine bright tonight

favs, in no particular order: Tool, Shpongle, Celtic Cross - Hicksville (I'd have liked to hear more from that collaboration!), Hoopy Frood - Psychonaut Pretty much any of the psybient stuff. Is it my imagination or do a lot of the psybient/psychedelic groups have a good first album, then it goes down hill? Two things to keep in mind: 1) It is all lies. 2) There is no privacy on the Internet.

Now I think about it... I'm really loving my electronic/post-rock for tripping.
Used to love ambient psy but I think I've been overdoing it for about 5 years.

i usually listen to some drum and bass like: Netsky, Danny Bryd, Logistics, Nu:tone, London Elektricity or High contrast. Either that or Tame Impala - Innerspeaker is a great album or Psych rock. They're from here, Perth, Western Australia Ad Astra Per Aspera - "To the stars through struggle" living by love and knowledge, encouraging others to join. Perth, Western Australia.

Try Inventions For Electric Guitar by Manuel Göttsching, with changa. A favorite album for longer psychedelic experiences is Yr by Steve Tibbetts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsykaW-gcKYWelcome Home Mister_Niles. We've Been Waiting For You.

For immersive Maoi + shroom w/interspersed DMT trips I pretty much always listen to Future Sounds of London. They go all over the place but never stray far from tricks and calm. Especially useful when you're utterly incapable of choosing a song cognitively, let alone going through the tedious procedure of making any sort of input for your computer to carry out. Otherwise Sphongle. I tend to gravitate towards Boards of Canada if you throw Salvia into the mix. My last DMT breakthrough was rudely interrupted by an ice cream man in a van blaring out heinously loud animal bleatings from a severely degraded tape. Horrible. That said it actually scored him some punters, so props to him. If I ever meet the man, I'd be loathed to forgive him. ู

On vaporized DMT Excursions i love to listen to Psy-Trance from Israel, especially the Track Astrix - Daydream which is simply brilliant. I found it on Israliens Vol.4. Another nice one is Ephedrix - Expander, the whole Album and Atma - The Secrets of Meditation, whole Album. - Wer heute den Kopf in den Sand steckt knirscht morgen mit den Zähnen -

My first DMT trip was to Tool's Schism. Was absolutely perfect for that experience, though I do agree other times music has distracted me in spice journeys. Otherwise, anything from Led Zep, Floyd, Hendrix is a given for any LSD-loving guitarist like myself I love to play at certain points of an experience too, has helped me learn a great deal about working with sound and my instrument. There are also a few local electronic artists here in Oz I really enjoy. A few of my mates are producers and DJs, and they're always good to listen to. One in particular is masterful at crafting a space thats visually spectacular with a perfect soundscape.. has made for some beautiful experiences. SoundOfFire is just as the name implies, the audible manifestation of the element of fire. As such, the entity is not bound by social or cultural paradigms and laws. Anyhow, all events described take place in the imaginary realms of the mind and as such, never actually transpired. All opinions expressed are therefore not based in the consensus reality we all share and should therefore be taken with a grain of salt.

Personally I have really been enjoying listening to Ott's new album Mir which is a great psychedelic, ambient, dub infusion. I learned about Prefuse 73 on one of my recent LSD incursions, as you can tell by my avatar, and have fallen in love with his trip-hop style, which seems to make alot more sense when your ability to interpret sounds is manipulated by a psychedelic. DJ Frane, my favorite underground sampling artist, does hip-hop/psychedelic mixes which are top notch. I strongly suggest checking him out. I've got a ton more up my sleeve but will leave it at that. This one is great!!! off of Ott - Mir. The whole album is a must have atleast in my world

I'm probably a little too mainstream here, but on mushrooms it's almost a ritual for me to start with either Zeppelin or Marley to ease me up, some Yes or Tangerine Dream for high speed acceleration and wormhole surfing, Animal Collective for almost anything, and usually I will tag some Beastie Boys onto the end to bring me back to ground. Modest Mouse actually did it for me one night, but that was a very different night. You'll never take me alive coppers!
