I apologize if this has already been covered but I've been reading about the process of creating enhanced leaf in the DMT Handbook and have been comparing it to some of the forum teks. There are some that require two weeks to a month of "brewing" of Caapi/ethanol before adding dry herbs to soak up the goodies. The handbook only soaks leaves for four days until full evaporation of the solvent before adding to spice. So is the full process to soak Caapi leaves in alcohol for a couple of weeks to pull the MAOI properties, strain, then add your 50/50 mix of Blue Lotus and Calea? When the handbook talks about adding the leaf to the dissolved DMT freebase, it's talking about leaf you have already enhanced with Caapi "juice"? Or am I completely off and these are two completely different processes? Basically, is Electric Sheep created by simply adding a 50/50 dry leaf blend to the DMT saturated solvent (as directed by the handbook) or is Electric Sheep added to the caapi leaf menstruum first (as in Dorge's 10x leaf tek)? Thanks! Prone to made-up, outlandish gibberish. Any coherent words or full sentences are purely coincidental. Jigganaut does none of these things. It's not experience, it's delirious.

You should only have to soak the leaves in the solvent for however long it takes for evaporation. "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein

This depends on if you just want Electric Sheep enhanced leaf or changa. SWIM is just happy with her enhanced leaf, but lately adds the harmalas (in your case the menstruum) just for the added effect. The harmalas always act to ground the experience a bit more, so they will be different, but each very good. PK Dick is to LSD as HP Lovecraft is to Mushrooms

Thank you, both! It seems that there's plenty of room for experimentation when creating spice experiences. Maybe that's what makes it so special. ![Smile](/forum/images/emoticons/smile.png) So enhanced leaf Electric Sheep is a simple 50/50 mix added to the spice (1:1) where as Changa brings in Ayahuasca properties with a Caapi soak. Great information. Thanks for the quick replies. I'd better go get my 10x in the cupboard since it's got some brewing to do! Prone to made-up, outlandish gibberish. I don't know if it was better to open a new discussion or not. Anyway, my question regarding the "10x Enhanced Caapi Leaf" is : In the first step, when you soak leaves in a solvent, do you need to crush a little bit the leaves, or it is useless ?

You can crush the leaves. This would give you maximal surface area "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein
