Hello my friends,
I am someone very interested in trying DMT for spiritual purposes. I have taken LSD before and kept hearing about this DMT stuff. At first I didn't want anything to do with it but my inquisitive nature decided just to look at what people say about it. To my surprise people described very little side effects however stressed that if one is not emotionally prepared one will fail. So that sparked off reading and more reading on anything I could find and backup with recounts on forums and scientific journals. That basically brings me here. I have a knack for all things science so I am intending on performing an extraction myself, I too share the belief that spiritual experiences should cost no money and have no intention in buying something which I am not entirely sure of it's purity. After all from what I've read this could easily be the most powerful experience I ever face. I don't intend on taking it immediately and am planning how and when I'll do this, I'm thinking in another few months after I am convinced I have all the information I can about this experience (and when uni work isn't such a heavy burden).

I live near Newcastle in NSW, Australia and attend university. I like to think that I have an open mind and feel I could contribute to a lot of discussion here. I am not able to discuss these sort of topics around my friends and family as my friends take drugs to get a high while I take drugs for spiritual purposes and my family are very much against drugs (well except weed maybe). My main hobbies are spirituality, engineering, philosophy and science.

welcome, Yip dmt is pretty dam powerful so its good you have been reading up about it, the reasons you listed are perfect reasons to join here and I'm sure you will be right at home.

looks like your doing your reading and research preparing for your dmt experience's. we all come to the spice and this community differently. i went in pretty blind, all i knew is dmt was powerful and short. i piled on spice by the spoonful only to melt it all down into the weed pipe i was using but somehow i eventually had a very powerful breakthrough in my first dozen attempts. after that i not only looked at psychedelics and dmt differently i looked at the whole world with new eyes.

i smoked the spice for almost a year before i found this treasure of information called the nexus. although i figured most of the in's and outs's along my way it sure would have been great to have been where your sitting with this much knowledge and support at our fingertips.

there is no real right or wrong way to come to dmt. you arrive as you are and go from there. welcome new fiend i hope to hear more about your personal growth and understanding as you embark on an exploration of mind and universe. this is big. make no mistakes about it dmt has the ability to change many ideas and confirm even more.
