There are a number of short essays, some by noted scholars like Stanislav Grof, M.D., with titles like "Using Psychedelics Wisely," "Psychedelics and Self-Actualization," and "Molecular Mysticism: The Role of Psychoactive Substances in the Transformation of Consciousness." Many of these might be beneficial toward preparation for newcomers.

I haven't read it yet but it looks like a good idea. That's the best part about psychedelics! or at least my favorite anyway!
