It came to my mind that when the fella in the painting is smoking DNA, I feel like it has close connection to DMT, as when one learns from it, the spice can maybe alter your DNA as the new information is way progressed. PS. The fella's smoking outfit is way cool

Completed this today, It's two separate canvasses (in line with the paintings meaning.) The more I look at it the more it seems to relate to many things beyond my original intention. I interpret it as looking at our animal nature...and our animal nature LOOKING BACK AT US. And I think it's REALLY an amazing piece of work!

Wow... Interpretation 1: It's two sides of the same coin, it's all about perspective, how you are able to perceive it. Interpretation 2: With it being an x-ray and scalpel on the left, I get the medical field vibe. It also seems to be destroying the wing. Then a skillful painter on the right, adding to the beauty. Maybe ego and left brain vs right brain? Very good work either way, I'd love to hear your initial idea for it. Convert a melodic element into a rhythmic element...

Good old acrylics, I use a mix of higher and lower grade acrylics, the lower grade stuff is actually far more useful to me, as the tones become muted and i can brighten, darken and blend them together as dry layers.
