Fairly positive article on Ayahuasca by the Independent - a UK publisher - in case anyone missed it. I suppose if celebrities are doing it, it's okay. At least it puts the brew in a positive light. Ayahuasca: a shamanic miracle or 'crazy tea'? - 31 May 2011 The Independent"Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored." -A.Huxley

Yeah, could be a lot worse! Still not happy with the whole "crazy tea" bit, though, especially with it being in the title and the lead of the article. I do feel like they did a good job of portraying it as a respected medicine. ¤ø¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸„ø¤º¨

Quote:"It's not a frivolous pursuit... There's a certain amount of dread attached to taking it – you have a hallucinogenic trip that deals with death and your mortality. It's not something you're going to score and have a great time on." Its interesting, that it is aceptable to ingest a drug, because it can throw you into a painful emotional state. What does that say about western culture?

^^^ Well, it mostly says that things involving pain are acceptable. Which they are! Remember, since the merging of Judeo-Christian tradition and German militarism, enduring/causing suffering is a GOOD thing. ¤ø¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸„ø¤º¨

Physical suffering yes. Mental suffering no. Then it's a crazy tea and very dangerous. Crazy people are dangerous. ––––––
DMTripper is a fictional character therefore everything he says here must be fiction. I mean, who really believes there is such a place as Hyperspace!!
