how long can you let bark soak? Options

so how long do you/ can you let mimosa soak in lye?

at any point does it become counter productive to leave the bark to soak?

I'm not sure there is a maximum time. I have had batches that sat for more than 6 months before I finished pulling from it and I still did a couple pulls.

I imagine it could be a very long time before it went bad.

I think the important thing is that it is stored in an air tight container so that you dont loes any water through evaporation. I would also keep it dark and cool if I were going to store it for any period of time.

presumable you could just add more water to combat loss if needs be.

did you find any discernible difference in percentage yeild from leaving it for that amount of time versus the standard soak time?
