with all the experience I figured this would be my best bet for a knowledgeable answer, or an educated guess at best.

My girlgfriend is very fond of mushrooms, has no dislike towards them what so ever, but does not enjoy DMT. she has only taken dmt in small doses, but says she does not like the mental state it puts her in.

I understand that in the end, it is completely her decision, which I respect. but I have come here for the opinions of others.

given her thoughts on mushrooms and dmt, would you guys recommend trying LSD?

LSD was always on our to-do list, untill she tried DMT. she is worried that after taking LSD, she may not enjoy the 8 hour commitment she just made.

I would love to hear your thoughts about which trip is the most identical to LSD, or even a vague explanation of what to expect.

I dunno, personally DMT and mushrooms are near identical to me..has she tried oral DMT or ayahuasca? I would bet that if psilocin was vapable she would feel the same way about it as she does DMT. DMT and mushrooms have more in common than LSD has with either of them. I cant see anyone who likes mushrooms not enjoying oral DMT once they find the approriate dosage for them, which is different for each individual.

My point being, that I would bet that her dislike of DMT has more to do with route of administration than it does with the DMT experience itself. Smoking DMT can be very disphoric due to the rapid onset of effects, it is somewhat difficult to settle into a vaped DMT experience compared to an oral dose. I personally find mushrooms to basically be an oral DMT trip.

In reguards to LSD, neither is closer to LSD than the other IMO. DMT is far more like mushrooms than LSD is, though I havent taken acid in a few years so..

Plus, vaped DMT isn't that enjoyable in small doses. Has she tried anything approaching a breakthrough dose? And changa might be a good path, as it's sooo much more pleasant in small quantities.

I find it odd that she likes shrooms but doesn't like DMT. Acid is pretty different from either, but I guess the only way to see if you like something is to just do it. She may like acid since it has a slow come up, peak and comedown, but I couldn't say. Could you perhaps elaborate and see if she can let us know what part of the experience it was that she didn't like?
