some prefer skins to xtals because of various reasons, but what if we can make the skins into crystaline product without lye or a traditional ab set-up, this might be a safer route altogether for extraction

the idea here is to soak green flesh in acetone to make a phenylethylamine saturated acetone that will evaporate down to an active resinous tar, this tar could potentially be reduced again in quantity by washing with water/mek/ipa

additionally if hcl or (acetic, fasi, fasw, carbonic) was added to the acetone, would the acetone precipitate xtals of actives or excess acids?
if it precips actives they could simply be filtered out with the liquid acetone and the tar reduction could be greatly advanced, if its the excess acids then at the very least the tar will have a more solid salt base and be less gooey if done correctly (ie not using excess heat with vinegar)

i want to avoid bassification and pulling with orange oil (or xylene or toulene) and go back to a full spectrum tar like previous everclear tars had yielded, so if anyone has info on soluability of mesc in different polar/ingestible/easily evaporatably fluids that would be great, some tests will be run on my end

if this works

the legitimacy of cactus manufacturing is assured, it would mean that acetone/mek/ipa/151/water and trichocereus skins are the entire process, IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP

peace and light friends

best i've gotten with minimal effort is a cold water extract with citric acid of dried and powdered cactus, gently stirring and letting it soak for about 10 minutes each pull doing 3-4 pulls total. after the water seems saturated but not slimey filter through muslin cloth/tea bag for yellow/amber colored water. i repeated until it started getting slimey, filtering an extra time to be safe. After evaporating in the oven under low heat I had crystalline-like golden/orange/brown solid rocks.

Yield was 9 grams out of 100 grams cactus flesh iirc.

100 grams at 5 % by weight should be around 5 g of alkaloids, even if the tar was 2x heavier in your case thats still incredibly potent product that would be much more difficult to incriminate

another idea is that mesc hcl isnt soluable in acetone, so maybe the acetone wont pick up all the salts if it were dry, but if an amount of water was added the acetone/water should mix freely and allow alks to seep into the sloppy solution

yes the rocks were not pure mesc but rather a full range extract, mostly alks not that much impurites. I don't like messing with mineral spirits anymore. The acetone idea is a try. I've also had luck doing a boiling acidified water extraction followed by evaping then doing a cwe on the tar to reduce volume furthur but that was not nearly as pure or solidified as the cwe on cactus flesh with citric acid itself. if you are going to use solvent why not just do the d limo drytek that works wonders

the general consensus of the feline nation is that the song "dry tek" feat. d-limo (the rapper) is the cleanest beat for the music of the soul
