Hello, Nexus.
I've recently become intrigued by Dimethyltryptamine and have decided to try it in due time.

When I originally learned about DMT I watched countless hours of footage about it along with many experiences. I continued to accumulate knowledge on the subject with no conceivable thought of me being able to spread the word until I was proposed with an opportunity to do a report on any drug of choice, DMT was the first thing that came to mind.
As I verbally presented my project a few people approached me and questioned me about the drug, they were blatantly interested in doing it but I didn't think anybody would follow through -up until my friend told me he was interested I had thought searching for the drug was be a lost cause-.

My friend has 'been around the block' when it comes to drugs and he had said he has always wanted to try, he never had the chance to up until recently. We have already set up an appropriate time which will give us enough time to extract it, set up precautions, and then use it.
(We're being responsible about it.)

Hi Brain,

awesome that you are taking things in to your own hands.
Have you had any experience with other psychedelics, and if so, which and how did you like them?

What draws your dmt itself? curiosity? Do you see some kind of potential in it? or do you have, what many here refer to as 'the call' - a mysterious impulse to try it, a mysterious attraction to it...?

in any case, a warm welcome to the forum to you.

much love
Enoon

No, I actually haven't experienced any other types of psychedelics. I was hoping to try something that would give a short-lived trip just in case I have a bad trip, it won't be 8 hours of hell.

The first thing that interested me was the fact of how unknown and illegal it actually was. You see all of the illegal drugs being present in anti-drug propaganda, most of which are portrayed as worse than they really are; marijuana, mainly.
If a drug is this illegal, occurring in our brain during REM sleep, and the most potent psychedelic then I wanted to see what it actually was.

I found that DMT heightens your perception of the connection all conscious observers share, I'm having a hard time living with an ignorant population and am hoping to be enlightened during my trip.
I've read experiences that claim to have altered the user's definition of 'life', I'm not sure how true it is but I don't see a downside of such an experiment.
I guess the major reason I want to try it is 'the call', the second I heard about it I just needed to experience it.

Thank you for the welcome, I will probably lurk and post occasionally up until my experience -I'll then write up about my trip-.

as Terence Mckenna once said "DMT is a true secret, meaning, talking about it doesnt give it away" it is definetly full of mysterys and i cant wait to try it out myself
can't wait to hear about the trip
i like to look into substances before i do them too, there is nothing like reading a trip report

welcome aboard Smile I can tell you that dmt has reshaped my entire life for the better. Its quite possible that after trying it your ideas about the universe and your relationship to it will drastically change. If you have a bad experience don't give up on it and try again.

thats my advise .

safe journeys .

Welcome, "Brain".

You're in for quite a ride. I can promise you that.

I wouldn't worry too much about having a "bad trip". IMO, DMT doesn't dig into the contents of your awareness/psychology/emotions in the same way other psychedelics might. I've encountered components of DMT trips that were quite terrifying, but still taught me something great and were worth the experience.

Above all, you're likely to be simply awestruck. Bewildered. Dumbfounded, even. But one thing is for certain... This experience *will* impact you.

Do some reading and study about extraction teks. If you run into any issues along the way, you couldn't be among a better group of people.
"'Tis true, without falsehood, certain and most true.
That which is below is as that which is above, and that which is above is as that which is below, to accomplish the miracle of the One thing.
And as all things have arisen from one by the meditation of one: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation.

the wind hath carried it in its belly, the earth its nurse."
