DDOS by feds is not something I ever see happening. And besides, the IP's are stored quadruple encrypted by an offsite mechanism, meaning that even if they ever grab the server they still can't do much with it. Kind regards, The Traveler

Most (if not all) of the individuals who have been busted and had links to internet sites were either major players involved in illegal activities (a la Psilocybe Fanaticus) or had their computers confiscated on the back end. When entire sites were targeted, it was because they were involved in illicit activities (like operation webTryp; which is one reason we have the guidelines in the attitude and enforce them to the best of our abilities). If this was gov't it wouldn't have been DDoS and it wouldn't have been incompetent to the degree that it was. Why would they attack the NEXUS after they just took out Sony's PSN earlier that month. Don't you see the news? The Playstation Network was down from sometime in April to about May 3 and Anonymous claimed responsibility. This attack was probably just some petty chan raid. Also if the attacker isn't a complete idiot and uses a botnet to DDoS, it doesn't matter if the IPs are logged and traced. They can control their botnets from behind a proxy. You don't DoS your target directly, you have your bot army do it! Its the MeICNU
