Below is a Report a close friend of mine sent me asking for any advise or answers.
So recently i Preformed a extract of 300g of Acacia Confusa, Heres the thing though I am 95% sure that this bark is indeed confusa, and 5% that it isnt, but let me go over how i extracted.
First i used lex tek and went ahead and simmered bark in acidified water PH of 4, for about an hr total of 2times.
Added both boils, and reduced.
Secound i Put reduced liquids in jug, after it had cooled i basified with Sodium Hydroxide till i got a PH of 13
After Basifying liquid was Dark Dark Bloody red.
Third i did first pull using Naptha instead of Shelite, siphoned the two layers apart did a total of 2 pulls.
added the pulls and Acidified again PH 4
Separated those two layers ^
Then Basified that Acidic Water PH 13 agian
Then Finally i Did my final Pulls, after three pulls i had a full jar of naptha, and since i didn't get to reducing it on a hot plate i just let it sit outside for approx a week and the naptha reduced to a desired amount, and was a creamy color.
Freeze Precip for i would say about 22 hours i had what looked like some fluffy white Spice.
The questions i really have concerning this is i am not sure if what i have is Spice, i dissolved most of what i collected in some warm naptha and separated the naptha from the gunk at the bottom of the shot glass, once the oily gunk was removed it almost hardened instantly, i had also tried vaporizing it over some cannabis to see if there was any noticeable effects but mainly just got a taste of moth balls, Maybe i didnt try enough? maybe it shouldn't be on top of cannabis?
On the right is the supposedly spice, and the left is the gunk i am left with after dissolving in naptha.
Anyone have any advice or answers on how one could figure out if my friends stuff is spice or not?
