Not sure where this post belongs, but basic info seems right. Almost everytime before I journey, I have to take a bowel movement. Sometimes, I go 2-4 times, until everything is cleared out. I'm guessing this is something akin to pre-flight anxiety, and was wondering if any others deal with this physical effect? It's always right before I smoke, never after. Something in my mind tells me my body needs to be free of waste before I launch, but ya never know. Kind of an embarassing topic, but hey, its just like that children's book..."Everybody Poops" Cool

happens to me too.... definitely an anxiety issue for me.
of course i haven't tried spice yet but when i used to smoke salvia or long ago, before i took lsd or mushrooms i would always need to "go".

when i used to perform, i used to throw up before a show - same thing i think.

Happens to me most of the time. There are the occasional launches without that particular pre-ritual, but they're rare. I have a great friend/fellow space cadet that "evacuates" before EVERY launch.

I have no clue as to what it means, if it means anything at all, but you aren't alone.
There exists precious little outside that in which you believe, and thus choose to see.

I'm more of a bladder guy.

It got to the stage where I couldn't be empty enough to launch, I'd always have the feeling I needed to go. Eventually I came to the conclusion I'm never going to pee myself in a DMT trance and now I don't worry.

Could it be something akin to "purging"?

Every time I go to smoke DMT, it instantly have to take a leak, even if I just went.

I've seen a guy purge/piss himself whilest in mid-breakthrough.
Though, the alcohol may have had something to do with it (told him not to)

For me its every time I come out of a trip I have to go have a leak. Its interesting to see the physical effects people seem to get just from the preparation/thought of smoking spice. I could imagine it could get quite distracting.
Black then white are all I see in my infancy.
Red and yellow then came to be,
reaching out to me, lets me see.
There is so much more and it beckons me to look though to these,
infinite possibilities.
As below so above and beyond I imagine,
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Right on, so it's a totally natural response to launching...Strangely enough, it feels better to "empty" oneself before a launch, ridding your body of possible toxicities that could 'possibly' interact with the spice/journey....btw, Mysmelf, I read that 'god laughing at myself' report you wrote a while back...great read!

I actually had a similar experience this morning, just before beginning my 9+ hours in the kitchen with a Caapi brew. Anticipation/anxiety/cleansing? All of those? I definitely felt a lot lighter and more comfortable!

Very happy
