A couple weeks ago, I prepared some cannabis changa using 92% IPA and the DMT that I cleaned out of my GVG and extraction vessel which I assumed would be potent enough. I ground up some of this "mango" mj and let evaporation take its course. I knew I was preparing it for 420 (figured it would be appropriate to infuse the mj as opposed to other herbs in lieu of the occasion). I knew that among the partakers would be myself, my brother and my friend.
So yesterday morning (420) my brother and I smoked a bowl of non-infused hedies. We were quite baked when we got to my friend's at around 2:30. I let everyone know my plan was to smoke the changa at 4:20. We sat around and had some profound conversations, passing the time til 4:20. We had everything ready to go, so at 4:20 I had my bowl packed, had some music going, took a rip and passed it. I think I ended up taking 4 rips and each time, I would hold in each hit till the bowl got back to me. Pretty much by the time we were all done taking our hits, "The Moon and I" by Steve Vai came on through the speakers and boy did it seem appropriate at the time. I strongly suggest that you listen to it for you Vai fans who haven't (I only discovered it like 3 days ago). The song to follow was Bumblefoot's brand new cover of Elton John's "Goodbye Yellowbrick Road" which was very relaxing, and I would also recommend it to all.
The experience wasn't terribly profound, but it was highly engaging. It was quite euphoric with mazes and galaxies of patterns moving perfectly to the music. The cannabis changa was definitely harder to hold in the lungs than other changa I've made in the past, and certainly harder than crystal spice out of the GVG. When everyone had come down, we proceeded to discuss what had just occurred, and everyone was rather pleased with their experience. My brother noted that it hit him quicker and harder than he expected despite the fact that he's smoked DMT out of the GVG on several occasions and that when he asked me how long it would take, I told him about 10-20 seconds.
After sitting around for an hour, we all decided that we wanted to go again [note to Q21Q21
]. We packed it up again, and here's where things started to get interesting. The first time around, we had the shades in the room closed, but this time they were open so the sun was peeking into the room. I had my eyes closed and was watching the scenes unfold before my eyes as normal, but then something ever so peculiar happened. I was finding my face being pulled towards the light and heat of the sun. As my face entered the light my visions on the right side of my face (the side in the light) were illuminated (as expected). It was kinda like the light was a tractor beam. I opened my eyes eventually to do some experimentation. I stuck my right arm out into the sunlight and it really grabbed hold. I can't express just how much it felt and acted like a magnetic force. With my arm outstretched, the sun would move my arm, pulling it to wherever the greatest intensity of light was. For the moment, I was not controlling my arm, yet it was moving all about. I closed my eyes, and it continued to do so. I didn't have to be looking at where the light was, or "feeling for myself" where the heat was greatest or anything like that because there was a rather strong energy that was pulling on the muscle fibers in my arm. When I pulled my arm out of the sunlight, it felt like it was supercharged.
All of a sudden, I had the greatest urge to go outside. I figured, if this is what the sun feels like as a handful of rays were allowed to shine through the shades, I could only imagine how I might interact with it if I were outdoors, and after all, it was such a beautiful day out. I convinced everyone we should go outside. I took another couple rips, and we were out the door. I never smoked spice with the intention to go walking about, but being that the visual component of the experience wasn't nearly as profound as freebase out of the GVG, I figured it might not be all that bad.
Getting out into the outside world was spectacular. Visually speaking, everything was rather large, vivid and full. The way everything looked was how I imagined things might look on DMT with my imagination before I had any experience with the molecule whatsoever, and so in that way, it was pretty ideal. Everything had a simply magical presence to it. As expected, whatever area of my body that was exposed to the sun would feel magnetically pulled toward it. Even with my back facing the sun, I could practically feel the skin on my back being pulled backwards. At one point we were standing in a park and what I discovered was that with my full body facing the sun, I found myself slowly and involuntarily moving foward. My legs were moving themselves. I had no idea what to make of it, and I still really don't, but the warm pulling sensation felt good.
After enjoying ourselves out in nature for a while, we went to a local pizzeria and devoured a pie of salad pizza (the weed part of the changa was making us starving). It was really shaping up as an ideal 420. When we were done, we went to another friend's house to smoke, but upon trying to smoke the changa again, it seemed that no matter how much any of us smoked, we couldn't really feel comparable effects like those of earlier in the day, but I suppose as a little compensation, we were lit.
