From what ive heard from the fine peeps here is that its just one of those things you have to get used to. Start off with smaller doses, get used to the feeling, and then go from there. if its uncomfortable enough to deter you from doing it again then maybe just wait a while. and when you go to do it again just plan out a meditation session before lift-off. peace of mind can bring about peace of body. happy trails, hope i helped haha.

not sure if this will be any help at all - but i've been experiencing the same thing regarding doing it in the first place. i keep changing my mind about which extraction to use, then i find a reason i don't have time to do the extraction, then i decide i just won't do it at all, then i change my mind again and i AM gonna do it.... I keep coming up with excuses.
FInally i have come to the conclusion that when the time is right, i will know and i will do it then.... In the meantime - i just keep reading, thinking and trying to come to a solid decision about which tek i am going to use. I actually think i've nailed down that part. Now - i gotta stop stalling on that part!

I have a couple things in mind that may help:

Before the trip
-Meditate (like Spire says) while listening to binaural beats for at least 30 minutes before lift off
-While meditating, visualize some of the more enjoyable trips you've had before. Visualize yourself having a beautiful trip with the DMT you're about to use.
-Also while meditating, affirm to yourself the things you should hear yourself say, e.g., "I will enjoy this trip no matter what happens". Be creative, think of positive things to say.

During the trip
-You should be in a comfortable place with no distractions
-Try it in silent darkness
-If you play music on the trip, choose some gentle songs and not too loud
-Use a good breathing technique

Other considerations
-Eat healthy
-Drink less, drink responsibly
-Integrate well, what did you get from your last experience?

You can do this, but definitely wait for the advice of more experienced members. Good luck, friend

I would agree with most of what's been said already. I still have a bit of anxiety every time.

DMT by Shpongle is another good one if you're more adventurous.

Definitely be in a comfortable place where you won't be bothered.
If you're uncomfortable for any reason (drunk, upset stomach, headache etc.) save it for later.

I too am a bit put off by the physical discomfort of the spice, but for me the overall experience is worth it. I've found that keeping my eyes closed through the duration of the trip helps keep my focus off of the physical world.

One thing that surprised me was how much more uncomfortable I felt on smaller amounts 20-30mg than with my average 50-60mg dose. I could smoke 10mg and get a fun head-change or a full breakthrough dose and have a great experience, but for some reason the mid-level doses leave me with an uncomfortable body high and a longing for something more.

These are just my personal experiences, I hope they might help you, but please don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with.

When I feel reluctant to do it but think it's the right moment I listen to some good music to get me in tune. I used to play with my rat, but he's gone, so I try to calm myself by myself now. One thing I do is ask myself 'what is the very worst thing that can happen, objectively?' And the answer is, well I can have a bad trip for a few minutes. But seen as I've endured that before I shouldn't be too afraid...

not that I recommend this, but I find the slightly higher doses actually more pleasant than the lower ones, because one kind of forgets about the body. The come up lasts a few seconds in which you get this strange bodily feeling that makes you feel not entirely right, but then you're so far beyond that a few moments later that there is no lingering unpleasantness.
However if you are really reluctant to do it, just don't. It's not a race, so just do it when it feels right. You will know, and then you will muster up the courage to do it too.
