SWIM is really excited to try morning glory flying saucers. been reading about the methods and this one youtube seems to be really easy and basic. some questions have arose thou.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBnCRZKE9ak

HAVE read somewhere that peppermint extract makes LSA turn into LSH, which is closer to LSD, so is this what this method achieves? can i store this liquid for a long time?

^lol yea thats just a simple tincture

the lsa to lsh conversion thing is still anecdotal and speculative.
here are some past threads on the subject:

https://www.dmt-nexus.me/forum/d....aspx?g=posts&t=5118

in theory, if you were to soak the morning glory seeds in the peppermint extract tincture, it could perhaps result in a conversion, but that "is supposed to" depend upon the amount of acetaldehyde present. ron says that fresh peppermint works best, so you should experiment around. I personally have no experience with this method so far, but do intend on playing around with it in the future.
do report back if you choose to carry on with thisVery happy

thank-you.. loving the inside intel. fresh peppermint eh, where could one obtain this? buy a plant? this method seems very easy so this is what SWIM will use. just let seed powder sit in the alcohol for 2 days, then drink. can one put it somewhere for later?

been reading that morning glory has natural poisons in the shell, along with the companies that put more poison in them(stupid).. here in canada it is not lawful to permit poison in this flower. furthermore, the seeds SWIM bought were not red dyed, or labeled with any warning of treatment, so only the natural poison to worry about, does this process take that out?

god bless every one of you.

>send me a tiny drop, and I'll post up the data

really?

yea, why not?
I'll run it through LC/MS...that'll definitely shed light on whatever it would be.

I highly doubt letting it sit in peppermint oil does any conversion. one would need to reduce the amine to add the acetaldehyde, besides that, peppermint oil has very little acetaldehyde

say that would be a great, expect private msgSmile

now to clear the air. so peppermint oil will not convert LSA to LSH based on amine/acetaldehyde factors. have no idea what amine/acetaldehyde are, but that information will reveal itself later, surley. are the poisons not in this alcohol tincture?

Far between are ideas from ron that are actually reproducible. lsh i think being the poster child of speculative research.

Not that I have grown the plant and obtained truly fresh seeds, but I have purchased HBWR seeds, MG seeds, and Rivea O. seeds.

I have done cold water extracts on all of the above, and gotten mostly placebo level effects... eating 400 seeds worth of MG 'mush' resulted in little effect negative or positive. Eating more resulted in nothing much either. I guess I got seeds with little to no LSA and I own a stomach that is best classified in the 'cast iron' category. I experienced no nausea with my chowing down of these seeds, but almost no effect.

So I switched to extracted vaporized spice, and my eyes were opened in a profound way.... Definitely no placebo effect there my friends.

i have had 2 profoundly horrable experiences with both hbwr and mg. worse than 10 datura S seeds ontop of a fever mixed with stimulant cold medication. 100% delirium based sickness to the point i hallucinated, not like psychedelic with nausea. the sickness was primary.

anyway, if u try this lsh trick you really should buy or make your AD

hmm interesting
I ate 5 HBWR seeds and tripped mad balls for 6-8 hrs, and i very much enjoyed the psychedelic effects. the only thing that turned me off about it was the vasoconstriction that came with it. but if it wasnt for the vasoconstricted feeling, it would've been pretty fuckin amazing. however, I didnt extract, but rather ATE the seeds, so that was to be expected.

But i dont know if the tincture would be free of these nauseating compounds...i dont think so cuz alcohol will pretty much extract most compounds. The nausea can be reduced with the use of: Theobromine (raw Cacao seeds), Datura seeds (3-5 seeds inoxia or stramonium) and weeeeed

I have also done a cold water extraction in the past using the same seeds from which i tripped balls, and I realized that the cold water extraction was quite an inefficient method, because i felt almost no effects (maybe i did it wrong, but i dont think so...)

Check out your local "thai" market if you have one in your town.
Maybe you can buy some fresh peppermint there.

maybe try some lemongrass, or some clove oil
because more than likely, all you're doing is masking the taste.
converting it to LSH, yea right. show evidence of the conversion.

can one use peppermint leaves that you can find in tea?

"100% natural ingredients: Oregon peppermint leaves."

smells tastes and looks the part for this job. if it works how would you use this in place of the extract. this is powdered leaves not alcohol extract.

the issue with LSH is that it is too unstable; LSA doesn't like heat as it is,
and LSH decomposes on a whim.

well, i didnt mean to use it as a hot tea. but use the leaves in place of peppermint extract. should this work? replace the peppermint extract with these leaves and should be a go?

cant find mccormick peppermint extract anywhere, only 14-16% clubhouse brand extract.
