I planted a rivea corymbosa guerilla style near a neglected fence to spread some glory. I checked back the next morning and at least 25% of the plant's foliage is gone. There are huge bite marks which makes me think it's a caterpillar.

I was wondering if any nexians knew of any pesticides that are safe, can be bought in a store and won't make the plant's seeds have pesticides on them. I have searched online and the best thing I could find was Neem oil, but I haave no Idea if this is the right stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

Ill try to post pics but I have no camera so it could be a while.

Bummer. Hope you find what it is and stop it from doing more damage. Pyrethrum (Pyrethrin) spray might help. It is supposed to be low toxicity to humans and animals. It comes from African Chrysanthemum flower extracts. Some growers plant lots of these flowers around their sacred grows to keep out lots of unwanted buggies.
Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous.

The slugs seemed to love chomping on my Rivea last year, have you checked for slime trails?
